EHM YAY!!!! SAHM's rock!!!!!

I have walked everywhere today!! Walked DD1 to school, walked home, walked to toddler group, walked home, walked to get DD1, walked home again!! I ache now I'm not very fit. (In my defense though, DD1's school is half way up a very big hill, and I have to hump DD2 up it in the pushchair too.)

I haven't done much FLYing again today...The house doesn't look like it is suffering too much though. Will catch up at the weekend.

go to town to get:fruit and veg, kids summer hats, some bits for a mumsnetter whos little one went into hospital tuesday for 2 weeks.

write complaint letter to housing associastion + house builders
sort baby clothes that are cluttering
clean dds table
washing up inc. bottles

really should get on and do some more but run out of energy now, and its jsut too damn sunny outside!!!

ehm cake over here too please, i meant to get some more lemons to make lemon drizzle cake today but forgot, damn have to do it over the weekend!! oh and welcome to the world of being a sahm!! its tiring but brill!!

tort so glad you get to tell the boys!! am so excited for you! when do you get them back? sorry if i missed you sayin it, havnt been around for a while. (oh and wasnt i supposed to be paying you for a swim nappy?)

oh...by the way, the sunflowers have perked up slightly, but their leaves have gone mushy (a bit like lettuce goes if it freezes then defrosts) I'm hoping they will pull through. The tallest one is about 2ft....I have had to tie them up though to keep them from flopping over

~ ring school and find out if uniform is changing or not
~ meet up with friend to give her a gift - arranged for tomorrow
~ walk the dog
~ get showered and dressed
~ mopped the kitchen, utility room and downstairs loo floors after hoovering them
~ cleaned and used wood restorer on all the lower kitchen cupboards, kitchen table and chairs
~ 3 loads of washing
~ d/w loaded and unloaded
I am feeling chuffed with having done a good deal today.

shouldbe We're having an easy tea tonight as dh has to eat out with work. I didn't know about it until 4pm but hadn't actually started making tea so it's not too much of a nuisance. Actually, I'd better check to see if he has a smart casual shirt ready.
Aufish Ds missed half of an after school activity yesterday. I was really cross with myself because I had it written in my diary but not on the calendar or on Outlook on the PC. I'd had time to spare at lunch in work yesterday too and I should have checked my diary then and then I'd have remembered! Lesson learnt.
rolloneaster Do you like season names or would you like to keep the roll bit and change the rest?

Simply You are very thoughtful! I will have a good hunt for it...it's most likely in the tumble dryer...I suspect one of the kids has found it I shall be buying another box tommorrow anyway, so that'll have one in it no doubt. (thank you though )

Well done Luda It's a mile downhill to ds's pre-school but of course that means a mile uphill home - not easy with ds on the back on my bike! I'm hoping to do it at least once a day on the bike and get fitter.

Kids bath is running here - can't wait till bedtime, ds has been in a grump all afternoon (and dd hasn't been much better!) Dh is still out and I can't get him on his mobile so have no idea when he'll be home, then he'll have office work to do

well just brought washing in and shoved in dryer for half hour as sun isnt on it any mroe and its right outside my downstairs neighbors window so she doesnt need it there all evening (esp as she smokes out the window, and i know she wouldnt as the washing is there, and it makes me feel bad to resrict what she can do in her own house!)

need to get cracking i nthe kitchen but just cant motivate myself! might start on dds room instead!

EHM glad you are doing what it is you want to do in life. I was a SAHM for 6 years and whilst they were hard work with three under five I am glad I did it.

Have done b*er all today and will probably not do too much tomorrow either in preparation for my race. Will do the mission though as otherwise will feel slovenly.

Why thank you! was thinking about a name change for a while but couldn't think of one! Then DH pays a rare compliment, and I thought...hmmmmm!!! It kind of sounds a bit like Heyho too which is what I find myself saying a lot too!!
