Well I'm here just to start this thing off. Not going to do my list yet as I need to sort out the kids for school and get myself ready. Will be back later. Good morning anyway!

Ooohhh Luda my ds would've loved that too sounds like time well spent entertaining him (poor dd2 though!)

Ds is home from pre-school, we popped and bought some seeds and he's now having some telly time.

~quick pick up and put away upstairs done
~and same downstairs done
~gardening started
~buy done and plant sunflower seeds
~put away hats and gloves etc and get out sunhats etc done
~quick tidy in utility room done
~empty and wash cat litter tray done
~wm x2 done
~LOADS of washing to sort and put away plodding through
~ironing...?
~go to PO done and library
~take dd to Rainbows

Got started in the garden and then a neighbour came along (oldish chap who lives alone and is clearly lonely) and chatted over the fence for almost an hour ...shame cos I was doing very well...may try to get back out with the kids once we collect dd.

EHM · 18/04/2007 14:30

shouldbe you've got such a kind heart, chatting with the elderly neighbour for that long
floating I think I may buy one this weekend

yaddayah · 18/04/2007 14:30

yay for Tort* !!

Whew !

Right .. stern face for glitter

Now (said in my best Anthea voice)

I don't know .. you lot .. all this talk of lorries, testicles and psychic's

How will you're houses get clean ?

Tsk Tsk

(in a much smaller voice)

I Have .. ahem .. just spent over £200 in Next on dc's new summer clothes

(note to self .. hide the carrier bags from dh !)

Jelley · 18/04/2007 14:34

EHM I'm ok, thanks. I chickened out of going out for some odd reason, then went to my neighbour and cried for a bit instead[bush] I will go out tomorrow though...

"Nothing says I love you like a clean toilet bowl" or some such tosh made me laugh earlier this week

shouldbe · 18/04/2007 14:39

EHM there was no kindheartedness in it at all - I was cursing him (in my head) for holding me up the whole time He's OK really, he just has a habit of turning up just when I'm too busy!
Jelley are you OK? {{{hugs}}} if you need them

Aufish · 18/04/2007 14:40

hi everybody well everything is done on my list except for the washing up which cannot be done until I have some hot water, dp had a bath earlier and used all the water in the tank. So now thinking that I might as well wait until kids get home from school so then I do the lunchboxes at the same time. Think I will also do the lunches after washing up. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone!

shouldbe · 18/04/2007 14:41

Yadda I just ordered a load fo rthe kids from next too but thankfully much of it will go back cos I've asked for a couple of sizes inshoes etc (they're sizes are always hard to judge I find). How old are your dcs?

Aufish · 18/04/2007 14:41

Oh to shouldbe sorry about my other half either, he had taken the laptop and was being silly. I do proper conversations not silly stuff!

OP posts:
shouldbe · 18/04/2007 14:42

...and, yadda dh never got my text (phone battery was flat) and he wasn't home till I was asleep so haven't really said anymore about last night...I did made him an extra nice packed lunch though

shouldbe · 18/04/2007 14:43

lol, Aufish, that's OK - I'll try to get back online tomorrow perhaps for a better chat x

shouldbe · 18/04/2007 14:45

No sign of Tort yet?...I was hoping she'd be back by now....
Better go and collect dd then try again to make some progress in the garden

bewilderbeast · 18/04/2007 14:53

boy it's busy on here today. EHM I know just what you mean about the mirror, Flylady can be just a bit too "perky" at times.

Done:

bread out of breadmaker
washing up x 2
orange cake in oven
veg box delivery put away
old manky veg thrown away
caulliflower and purple sprouting brocolli puree for ds made and put in freezer
more furniture moved out of way of decorator, my back is killing me
freezer re-organised

can you tell that my mother has taken ds for a walk I'm getting loads done!
