Actually I've been meaning to sweep the front porch for ages... Will definitely sort that out today. Decluttering is a constant battle for me, but as the kids are at a holiday club today I should have some time to sort things out.

We are obviously sisters of the mind!

Anyway this is a good mission for me as my dining room is one of my biggest bugbears. I will try adn have a real blitz on it today but then am away at Beetys till the end of the week so no more flying for me till Sunday!

So, anyway - how are you this morning? All well I hope?

Another lovely spring morning here and I have lots to do so am going to have a shower in a mo then get on...

~everyone up, dressed and breakfasted
~make beds
~get kids to help with a quick tidy up
~go to bank and supermarket
~buy new spade and compost
~unpack shopping
~plant new plants in garden
~get out with kids for a walk/bike ride

There's loads more but I need to pace myself - everything takes so much longer with the lo's in tow!

oh - and I'll do the mission too as we'll be out in the front garden. I plan to give the kids a broom and get them doing some sweeping

Morning all. Havent read the weekend thread so hope everyone's ok.

Been away this weekend. DD1 was a pita when we got home. I almost hope she is coming down with something as i hate to think she is behaving so badly just because she feels like it

My hall, & dining room arent too bad but the whole of the front needs sorting. If we have some nice weather i'll do that this week. And i need to repot all of my house plants as they're all starting to die

...but not before i go to a friends for lunch

Morning I considered starting the thread earluy this am, but got distraceted getting the dds ready to go out.

I won't get much done today. We will be at the Tower of London all day

I have tidied a bit this morning, and there is stew in the slow cooker for when we get back, so not too bad. I need to do the mission, but it will have to wait til tomorrow.

Just wanted to say Hi, haven't read remainder of Fridays or the Weekend thread. I hope everybody & their lo's are all well. PIL have gone thankfully, it was getting very tense.
I have lots of errand to run today so I'll hopefull catch up later.

Well DS seems much better today weather is lovely (thanks for the forecast!!)

We've got a birthday party (soft play centre will be manic 5 year olds [shudder emoticon] then after back to another friends for a bounce on there trampoline (dc's) and a much needed cup of coffee (me)

Got to watch my time as i'm currently dyeing my hair (nothing exciting just getting rid of the grey bits and i'll cook if i go past 9am !

Good Morning Ladies

What a lovely sunny day !!!

I finished my book club book yesterday, by going to bed at 7pm with my DD to read and finished it by 10pm. So I'm going to the book club meeting at 2pm this afternoon.

This morning I have wiped over kitchen and bathroom. Hung out some laundary, more is in w/m and one load waiting to go in and rescued one load which I had forgotten about from the wet weekend and emptied dish washer.

TO DO LIST

Hoover downstairs
Deal with rest of washing including ironing
Hoover hall and stairs
Wipe down front door
Work on the garden cat fence with my parents who are coming over in an hour

........and forgot to mention the HUGE amount of laundry I have to do (total neglect of any washing for several days now )....

Morning, just got up and already have a to do list! I love the holidays and the fact that my other half gets in from work as the kids get up so I can have a lie in!

To Do List

Wash up and dry up breakfast dishes
A load of washing
Hoover and dust
Tidy up the conservatory

That last one is going to take awhile as its a dump everything in room for my sins, the rest of the house is nice and tidy, but the kids and partner love to put more stuff in it!

ok, just hung the washing out, loaded d/w, cleaned kitchen surfaces, cleaned DDs blackboard (on easel) and made a cuppa. Now DD1 has woken up and wants feeding....

Have been having fun with the kids today We went into town but it took ages so we haven't been doing much other than playing in the garden since we got home an hour or so ago Kids are watering the garden atm - both are naked from the waist down splashing everywhere
Better get back to supervising them!
