Hi Glitter just spotted you over on your own thread - we must have set up at the same time You've been busy already!

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 31/03/2007 08:34

Hi shouldbe have asked for the other thread ot be deleted so hope it should buzz off soon. Yes I have been busy I woke up and my head was spinning with thoughts for work after a late night conversation with my business partner.

shouldbe · 31/03/2007 08:37

I've been pouring over the Ikea catologue this morning trying to think of ways to re-organise dh's office/our spare room - the space just doesn't work and ends up looking a mess ...need to work out another lay-out with some decent storage....

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 31/03/2007 08:40

My problem is office/kitchen and diningroom all blend into one and if I dont sort them out I am living in chaos! It is really hard though to create a clean healthy work space as I end up with apper everywhere when I am being creative!

shouldbe · 31/03/2007 08:41

What is it you do? (If you don't mind telling...)

OP posts:
shouldbe · 31/03/2007 08:44

I am nosey - your profile says nursing....

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 31/03/2007 08:54

I run a management consultancy called the European Nursing Leadership Foundation. We are a social enterprise so we make a pofit for public good and we help organisations with nurisng problems and work with individuals as well running courses and coaching. We also run several web sites with free development resources for nurses and information which they can access.

I used to work at the Department of Health doing a National job in leadership for clinical staff but much prefer running my own business (although it cna be scary with raising three kids on my own as well).

glitterfairy · 31/03/2007 08:55

Meant profit! and all nurses are nosey it is part of why we nurse LOL.

shouldbe · 31/03/2007 08:57

Wow! That sounds great - a big challem=nge though, esp with 3 kids - Well done you

Ahhhh...I am a tad confused this morning, but I have now spotted the other thread! I was wondering why yad was saying good morning to so many people!!!

Good Morning All

Well I have been inspired by Kim & Agi this morning, I read their book last night, and I'm all syched up!!! I'm going to do all the little things I keep meaning to do, but never get round to.

~Flip the mattresses and vac them
~Clean the door handles and frames and light switches
~Move the kitchen around so I have more worktop space
~Clean my cooker hood
~Clean the microwave
~Hoover the edges of the carpet under the radiator in my room (I've moved DH's golf clubs, and they have left a dusty gap!!)
~Wash the door step, and outside front door.

They have some fab tips that I am going to follow,

glitterfairy · 31/03/2007 10:11

Has your Anthea book arrived yet luda?

Thanks shouldbe yes it is a challenge but very rewarding and can then fit in with my kids and running them around to all their activities.

ludaloo · 31/03/2007 10:23

no...not yet (should follow that up really...was pre ordered from Amazon)

I have also decided to wash all the throws off all the beds (I have had to cram ours in the washing machine which probably means it won't wash very well!!)

Have a good day ruby

SimplySparkling · 31/03/2007 10:41

Hello to all. I've had a long lie in and put a load of washing on so now need to get showered and dressed. Will then crack on with sorting out outgrown kids clothes with the kids. There's nothing like having them doing it with you, trying things on to weed out their wardrobe. Bye for now. Ooops. Almost put my RL name there!

Aufish · 31/03/2007 10:42

Good morning everybody, just got up and haven't started anything as yet.

My to do list today is this:

Wash and dry up, shine sink
Clean both bathrooms
Hoover up and dust
Put a couple of loads of washing on
Get the drying done
Put away another load of ironing that I did last night
Strip kids beds, (a job in itself!)

Will most probably think of other things as I go along. Just going to finish my coffee and get dressed and my list will begin!

shouldbe · 31/03/2007 10:43

Hi Simply - I actually refered to dh as "dh" in a RL face-to-face conversation the other day ....

OP posts:
shouldbe · 31/03/2007 10:44

Good morning Aufish

OP posts:
SimplySparkling · 31/03/2007 10:44

I should have known! I decide not to do a list and then shouldbe comes along with her long list! I feel the need to keep up with my peers so will be back with a list later!
