Does anyone else hoover their patio?

It doesn't matter how much I sweep and hose, there is always some fine dust and stony residue in the cracks in the patio paving. My brilliant idea was to use my trusty Henry to hoover it all up as builders use him for their left over mess. It works an absolute treat. My top tip. I thank you

Inside dust and outside dirt are pretty different. You'll feck your Hoover.

Eolian · 17/08/2017 16:57

ShockGrin at the very idea of cleaning up dust outside ! Outside is meant to be au naturel.

BackforGood · 17/08/2017 16:57

You just made me snort with laughter.
Thank you for making my day Grin

SnickersWasAHorse · 17/08/2017 16:58

You need a Karcher pressure washer and a grip

Rainybo · 17/08/2017 17:03

I Hoover my AstroTurf.....I'll get my coat

Davros · 17/08/2017 17:04

Got a Karcher but there's always some grime and dust in the patio cracks, I do seeep thoroughly first. I'm deadly serious, it works brilliantly and nothing else I've done does. My DSis now hoovered her front path after sweeping. Henry can take it, no problem

We have a Henry specifically for hoovering the patio! Grin

PortiaCastis · 17/08/2017 17:05

Life's too short to worry about patio dust 😎

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 17/08/2017 17:06

I hoover all the spiders off my garage ceiling

Therealslimshady1 · 17/08/2017 17:07

My mum does this Grin

SweetChickadee · 17/08/2017 17:07

it's supposed to be a bit dusty - it's outside Grin

if I saw my neighbor doing this I'd think she's lost her mind Shock

Flowersinyourhair · 17/08/2017 17:08

Bloody hell OP. I think you need to get a job, or do some charity work or something. You've got way too much time on your hands...

PoppyPopcorn · 17/08/2017 17:08

Jeezo.

Chill the fuck out with the hoovering. Outside. FFS.

Davros · 17/08/2017 17:09

I don't do it very often. It's nothing to do with having too much time

I hoover my decking! About twice a summer.

Kursk · 17/08/2017 17:11

I sweep the deck, but other than that the outside is left as it's supposed to be.

I did have s neighbor in the UK who would bleach her patio

What if one of those spiders were pregnant Shock

SnickersWasAHorse · 17/08/2017 17:17

always some grime and dust in the patio cracks

That's because outside has happened to them.
You know what it is. You've left them outside. Your patio has been repeatedly darked on.

PortiaCastis · 17/08/2017 17:32

Not only darked on but also rained on

hannah1992 · 17/08/2017 17:35

I'm also another that hoovers my decking! The brush just doesn't get into all the little dips so I just hoover it. I've had my hoover 5 years and it's still going strong

kittybiscuits · 17/08/2017 17:35

I haven't actually done it but I've thought about it a lot.

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 17/08/2017 17:40

My neighbour hoovers her artificial lawn. It is hysterical.

Eolian · 17/08/2017 21:05

I have never in my life hoovered or even swept outside. In any case, my patio has gravel between the paving stones. I don't think Henry would like the gravel Grin.

FabulouslyGlamorousFerret · 17/08/2017 22:20

I hoovered my new Iresin drive this morning, only got it 4weeks ago and I'm totally disproportionate in my love for it!
