HI everyone another beautiful day.

Having got all my morning jobs out of the way, my list looks like this:

Shower and wash my hair
Half an hour sorting the dining room/office
15 minutes bathroom
15 minutes bedroom
Hoover
post office for relocation forms
fish shop for tuna
buy a washing line for back yard
work whenever I can fit it in
finish clearing out car

Mhamai · 27/03/2007 12:27

Hi everyone, thanks for your kind wishes yesterday, shouldbe I'm sorry to hear about your problem re your neighbour. ludaloo There I was feeling sorry for myself because ds has the lurgy and you have 3 poorly! I have done the basics but am in a rush out the door to bring ds to the doctor so I'll catch up with you all later. Ps I have left a message with my student care officer to ring me to see if I can devise some way to catch up reasonably without having a nervous breakdown!

laloop · 27/03/2007 12:29

Well done everyone, you're all keeping busy.

Still have to mop downstairs then I can move upstairs and spend a bit of time there this afternoon. What a difference a few days off the housework makes, lesson learned - little and often seems to be the answer when you have small kids

Better go again, ds2 in downstairs cloakroom "washing his hands" but really "flooding the sink" would be more apt. Time to put the vacuum away and get the mop bucket out. Can't wait to sit down in a nice neat and tidy house again this evening - bliss

tortoise · 27/03/2007 12:57

All childrens washing has been put away.
Now having lunch.

sw phoned. She has to talk to DD1 about what happened Saturday.I know why she has to do it and i kind of expected it but its that things have to be like this.

ludaloo · 27/03/2007 13:04

Right...

~Washing 1 load on line, 1 load in
~Hoovering
~D/W done
~Kitchen

ludaloo · 27/03/2007 13:05

"It'll soon be over" even...

tortoise · 27/03/2007 13:09

Lol Luda! Great typo!

staceym11 · 27/03/2007 13:14

tort i must have missed something, what happened saturday?

well just been to town to get dh's birthday cards, dd still had no accidents, so im !!

ds in a bad mood as usual!! better get on with some houseowrk really!!

glitterfairy · 27/03/2007 13:16

tort best of luck. My kids have a guardian and whilst he has done a wonderful job, I long for the days when this is all over.

Well I have done the shower and got properly dressed not just trackies and am going to have a juice in the sun then really crack on wiht my list.

tortoise · 27/03/2007 13:24

Stacey- She hurt her arm and had to have xray in A&E. Its just to check it wasn't non-accidental!

shouldbe · 27/03/2007 13:24

Tort {{{hugs}}} hope business with sw goes OK

Ds is home now and wants to play on the computer so I'll get on with some more jobs - downstairs is looking good But upstairs is AWFUL so I need to make some progress there if I can. Going to get on till Doctors in TV on at 2.05 then stop and have some lunch. On a roll so won't stop!

See you all later x

tortoise · 27/03/2007 13:29

Thanks all. it will be fine.

shouldbe Glad you are on a roll.(Is it cheese or ham roll!!) Keep up the good work.

staceym11 · 27/03/2007 13:29

oh tort, poor you! everything will go fine with the sw, they just have to make sure!!

well no real progress made here so far...so am off to do missions!

glitterfairy · 27/03/2007 14:25

Oh tort am really sorry.

I have done half an hour on the dining room/office and cleared a fair bit.

Also done the mission and continued to clean living room properly and hoovered in there as well.

Am off to bathroom now.

staceym11 · 27/03/2007 14:32

oh do i really have to dust??? its my most hated thing ever (other than the ironing that is, oh and hoovering!)

glitterfairy · 27/03/2007 14:49

stacey I quite like cleaning but hate ironing with a passion. Its the futility of it all as soon as its clear it starts again. At least with cleaning there is a space where its nice. (A little one until the kids get home that is)

Mhamai · 27/03/2007 15:39

Lots of tort Ok good news, ds does not need an antibiotic, spoke to student officer and she managed to help me prioritise essay's, bad news though is that in order to knuckle down and get these essays done I probably won't be able to MN for a while Although I will come on to fly, however briefly otherwise the house will fall in around my ears.

I have to try and get my dad to his Azheimer's outpatient appt which may bor may not happen as he is prone lately to not wanting to leave the house. Oh and my daughter has decided to go to Spain to work for the Summer, I know it's not until June but I'm feeling empty nest syndrome already!

Ok, I have a good bit done, re the basics around the house but I desperatly need to hoover and mop the floors so away I go, catch you all later.

grouchyoscar · 27/03/2007 16:19

Hey Tort {{many hugs}} hope the SW knows it was nothing and it blows over.

Laloop Keep it up flygirl

Luda {{hugs}} to you and your 3 sickies

Afternoon ALL Welcome NEWBIES

Yesterday was abject chaos...DH has the day off with a tummy bug and took to bed. I take DS to school and I'm coralled into the Learning Mentors car and carted to the next town to complete a course I had completley forgotten about. Then pick up DS, make lunch for 3 then back to school for a Book Launch and to speak to the OFSTED lady as the school is being inspected again (it's hoping to get out of special measures this time). Home, Flying and make DS tea, more Flying, Quality mum and DS time then put DS to bed and stop.

Today not much different really.

Done list
UP and washed
DS up
Make DS bed, draw curtains, light tidy his room
Downstairs with washing
Load and run DW
Organise bags
make breakfast and scoff
Tidy away
Frogmarch DS to bathroom to wash him
Dress him
Take him to school
Come home and pick up where I left off on Sunday
Takle today's hotspot - The kitchen table and filing paperwork
Throw recycleable rubbish away
Collect DS
Home, get some toys out for him to play outside
Make lunch
Eat it and tidy away
Wash TK off DS
Remove uniform and add to washer and rum WM
Put playing out clothes on him
Take him to the park on the housing estate to play. (with his bike!)
He asks to go to the 'big park' (1/4 mile away) but legs begin to fail so I promise another time. DS has mini meltdown at this
Get home - Neighbours being ODD and off but I may be being touchy
Organise porch while DS plays out (keeping a beady eye on him)

Then I pop in to make a cuppa and he comes in screaming to high heaven. One of next door's twins has bitten him. It's not the first time either. I'm not up for ANY of this or the BS that comes with it 'Your DS is older/bigger than the babies. He has lots of toys, they don't etc etc' so I bring his toys in, bring him in and 30 mins later, after DS has calmed down, hit the office.

So now I'm here...feeling like I've overdone it again. Well DH home in an hour and DS is occupied so I'll kick back for 45 mins.

Oh shouldbe many moons ago one of our cats (a rescued stray) got out of our attic window and came back through next door,s window. Went to sleep in their son's wardrobe and tried to get into bed with him. Poor Nosmo realised he was in the wrong house, tried to escape via the attic window (their bedroom) which was shut, panicked, ran a muck and we never saw him again. Much hassle for several years after that, Woman next door (capable of being a spiteful lush)claims Nosmo was killed by next door's DH. I think he just thought 'I'm off!'

See you all later or in the morning x

NineUnlikelyTales · 27/03/2007 16:32

Good afternoon everyone

I have had quite a busy day today.

Done
Beds
3 loads of laundry
Been to dry cleaners
Bought veg etc for dinner
Today's mission
Vacuumed downstairs
Loaded dishwasher
Sorted ironing
Tidied sitting room
Put things away in dining room

Still to do
Tonight's dinner (easy, I made extra yesterday so just have to pad it out)
Ironing
Kitchen floor
Just remembered a picture that needs dusting in the sitting room

DS has been really unhappy today, whether in the sling or on his playmat or wherever so it has not been that great a day. Ah well.

Shouldbe I read your posts yesterday about your neighbour - I'm sorry you're upset. I hate neighbourly disputes too. If it's any comfort, I think the old lady has behaved appallingly (no excuse for swearing and threats to the cat) and you have been very kind to send flowers etc. At least you know you are doing your best to resolve the situation.

Mhamai well done you for getting your essays prioritised and good luck with them

9nut

Jelley · 27/03/2007 17:13

I've read and forgotten mostly, sorry

I didn't get much done this afternoon, but am getting ready for a night out with the girls (sort of...) DD1 has a school show so I'm taking dd2 and leaving dp to put ds to bed. I'll come back, do a quick story, then meet grown up girls for the end of the night out we planned ages ago. DD1s school are rubbish at communicating, and I only found out about the show last week.

Wanted to say hats off to Mhamai. You seem to have got alot on your plate and are still managing to study. Glad you have a plan of action for the essays.

ludaloo · 27/03/2007 17:47

I'm the same...read it then forgotten who has said what!!

I think I now have this bloomin cold...have done nothing but sneeze all afternoon!! DD2 definately has it the worst, she was very dopey and hot this afternoon.

Doctors went well anyway, kids all watched in horror as I had a needle jabbed in my butt!!! ....DS was very concerened, and DD2 cried!!! The doctor tried to console them all by saying "oooh mummy is very brave" and "don't worry it won't hurt...mummy has a nice big muscle on her bottom"

ludaloo · 27/03/2007 17:49

Jelley I'm very of your night out! Have a good one
