How do I remove the smell of smoke from my changing bag

I have been given one of these bags by a friend but it stinks of cigarette smoke. It says sponge clean only. I have had it in the conservatory airing out but it still smells. Any ideas?

I would put it in the machine. If it's already horrible, what have you got to lose?

YOu could risk it and wash it if you're gonna throw it if you can't get the smell out. Do on a delicate wash I'm sure it will come out ok. I do it to mmy dc lunch boxes all the time.

Bellie · 24/03/2007 21:09

I would wash it too! nothing to lose!

Aloveheart - you put lunchboxes in the washing machine???
