oh luda dont laugh at my hobbling! i was completely fall down drunk, you should have seen the state of my knees afterwards (very bad experience, lost 4 hrs of my life!! )

oh and good for you moving things, lol at the half eaten krispie thing! i remember doing things like that

staceym11 · 21/03/2007 14:46

oh tort hope your nose stops dripping, that wont help your shiny sink!!!

Mhamai · 21/03/2007 14:53

Hi everyone, I've been so busy faffing about on other threads that I've done nowt! Well I am pooly, anywho off to do a bit. Catch up with you all later. [smile

Mhamai · 21/03/2007 14:54

poorly even.

tortoise · 21/03/2007 15:16

Hope you feel better soon Mhamai.

Little improvement! Verty little but at least its a step in the right direction!

Feeling worse as the day goes on!

ludaloo · 21/03/2007 15:23

stacey sorry to lol I had a very similar experience on Diamond White...didn't loose my shoes, but I must have crawled on my knees most of the way home, as my trousers had no knees in them when I came too the next day
(I hallucinated a man watering his hedge and a swan flying past the window that night too!! )

Mhamai, nice to see you back again.

Luda and Stacey you sure know how to have a good time

I have now cleared out the bottom of the wardrobe (which shouldn't have been as bad as it was, given that DH only built it 7 months ago!). I took a bag of tat to the charity shop.

FLYladies, I would appreciate your views on this - is it possible to keep a control journal and do it reasonably well, whilst having a 6 month old baby? I try really hard to keep the basics done, eat a good meal every day and do the missions where I can. The kitchen is (almost) always spotless when I go to bed, but the sitting room is a constant battle and in the bedroom I rarely manage to do more than make the bed. Let's not mention the bathroom. I have to do 4 washes a day to keep on top of the laundry and even then I never get to the bottom of every basket (threre's only 3 of us FGS!).

What do you all think? I feel nervous of starting in case I fail

9nut

staceym11 · 21/03/2007 16:12

oh luda im glad its not just me!

i was having problems with PND and my mum was babysitting, my bro had to go get her and convince her to come get me because i was wailing 'they'l be better off without me, i'm not going back'

yet when i got inside i insisted on holding ds as he was crying (only 2month old, poor little mite must have been petrified) and then promptly passed out, to have my bros gf and my cousin wipe me down with baby wipes as i was bleeding (from the knees ) and covered in mud!

can laugh about it now, the next day i wasnt so impressed!!!

staceym11 · 21/03/2007 16:14

9nut, i havnt even attempted a control journal, but i think maybe wait until your routines with you lo are a bit more established so you know where you are a bit more, then you prob won't try and fail and feel all bad!! iykwim, not that i think you're gunna fail!

ludaloo · 21/03/2007 16:24

oooh 9nut can't really advise on a control journal, as I don't do one. Could you try to keep a rota type thing on the kitchen wall maybe? So you can pace yourself and see what needs doing. I also find it helpful to shut the bedroom door once I've done it...then I can't pile crap back in there.
I'm the same with the washing...but I do find if I can get to the bottom of the basket I only generally have to do 1 or 2 loads a day instead
