right - i am getting back on track with flying after a very slack couple of weeks. I cannot bear feeling chaotic ... so todays list:

Make beds
Sort DS's washing
Tidy Kitchen, lounge, bathroom (swish and wipe)
Go to sainsburys
unload dishwasher
sort out paperwork that i have been ignoring for 3 weeks
put away laundry

morning all.

in the true spirit of fly i am not going to do much housework this weekend. i DO have people coming over tomorrow so will do a quick room rescue before they come.

Hello everyone. Didnt get on much yesterday but am going to try and do a little flying this weekend and properly hoover the upstairs of my house. So my to do list reads

One hour walk
tidy and clean house
tidy up all stuff from yesterday (moved a lot of office stuff home)
Sort out linen in ds bedroom
Take dd to book club
Sort out loo seat
PLuck up the courage to start a fencing course with kids
SHopping
Menu planning
Clean fridge!!!!

OMG I will never fit all this in.

taylormama I have a pile of papaerwork which has been ignored for 3 years since ds was born so I'm sure your 3 weeks worth will be a breeze!

I have some bits and pieces to do today. Dh is working this morning, ds is almost over his cold and dd is coming down with a cold - great

~tidy up downstairs (shouldn't take too long - the place was tidy yesterday)
~change beds
~big clear-up upstairs - I'm hoping to rope the kids in to help
~choose paint for ds's room - we're redecorating this week
~ironing...maybe..
~deliver parish newsletter
~go to library and post office
~the usual dw, wm, td routine

That'll do - want some time with the family too (and perhaps time to talk to dh )

I am having my hair cut & colour at 1230 today as a special treat not had haircuit/colour for very long time.
I've prepared fruit for steamer for Ellie,steamer on.
General tidy around.
2 loads of washing & TD now on.
DH has taken Ellie for a walk, so I can have shower & get ready.
Have people coming arounf tomorrow too satin so I'll leave any further flying until tomorrow am. Also have to cook lunch for them tomorrow

I have changed all the beds, washed as much as I can (lots more to do. Will have to leave some until tomorrow), and have a shiny sink, and two dinners in the freezer.

DP is shopping for me on his way home from work, so I just need to tidy and hoover, and then maybe sit and read a book if ds will play. (The dds have a new HP video and are watching that)

Got to take ds2 to a party soon.Its only 1 and half hours long! By the time we walk home it will be almost time to pick him up again! Will take at least 20 mins to walk there with dd1 walking.

I have just come back from town, bought myself some new tops, kids some pyjamas (DS has Disney's Cars on his and is now wearing them, holding his Cars lunch bag, and is watching Cars ) DD1 has planted some poppy seeds, and we are both head to toe in compost!!!!!

I am going to
~Have a general tidy round
~Change beds
~Hoover
~Make pizza dough
~Maybe wash the curtains as DD2 has got chocolate all over the bottom of them.

Having an odd day. DS is sleepy sick so it's quiet but I can't really do anything/go anywhere.

Dones so far
Up and take DS to play downstairs
Tidy up crockery from last night
Load and run DW
Hand wash large pan and mixer bowl
Clean pizza tray
Clean hob
Empty DW
Put away
Make breakfast for family (scrambled eggs on toast)
Load DW
Get washed and dressed
Wash DS
Make DS bed and draw curtains
Chuck load of laundry for wm downstairs
S&S loo
S&S bathroom
load and run WM
Take ds and dh to dad's group
DS starts grizzling, leave to do shopping
DS starts shivering, take him home. DH does shop[ping
Install DS on sofa and provide teddy, blankets, monkey, cushion and calpol.
Help DH with putting away a fortnight's shopping.
DH to football. Call Virgin Media
Get cable box reset and negotiate a 20 quid credit to bill
Lots of MN time

Will do
Sort damp washing and bring for drying
Empty WM
Put laundry to dry
Rebuild ds's train set on front room floor.

I was supposed to be going to the Womens day festival in the next town but...I have to be with poorly DS...never mind, I'd have eaten too many scrummy Indian starters. and I had a great time last year so mustn't grumble.

Am off now to put on make up, shop and take dd to book club at which point I will have a well deserved decaf soy latte.

there seems to be some good flying happening here today - i have done really well (although still ignoring the paperwork but i don't feel too bad shouldbe!!!)

i just need to tackle the kitchen and make tonights dinner - sausage casserole and then choc/walnut brownies with vanilla ice cream (yum!!)

GF you will have definately deserved a latte!! ( I actually have no idea what a latte is!! LOL!! I'm presuming it is nice though...the donkey in Shrek says everyone loves latte!!!)

Well I have nowunloaded and reloaded the D/W and put another load of washing on...
I'm struggling to do anything major though.

Its the kitchen next week isn't it...I might do a good finish off in the living room then make a head start on the kitchen.
I'll do the curtains tommorrow now...its a bit late in the day for taking them off.

That's it - I'm ever-so tired today so am calling it a day. Kids want pasta for tea so that's easy and dh has said he'll buy a take-away for us

Its no good...I'm so bored I'm going to dust... ( gone are the days when I would go down the local for half a lager and a packet of salt and vinigar crisps to while away a Saterday afternoon...sigh...)

DC are out playing.
I'm feeling a bit . Whatever we play someone gets upset about losing or gets stroppy because its not gone how they want (ie they win!).
DS2 was trying to kick my leg and i moved so his heel hit my knee. Really hurt me and i will probably have another bruise. He didn't appologise for it. I just got up and left the room or i might of lost it with him!

Oh well, they are now fighting and arguing on the trampoline. I better go supervise!

I will still miss them when they leave at 5.

That reads like i meant his heel to hit my knee. I mean i moved and unfortunatly he kicked out again and caught my knee.
