ey up

some of your lists are a bit long and impressive so I am going to cheat and do my saturday and sunday list together so I don't look like such a lazy tart

baked banana bread (in bread maker) and shortbread biscuits
made 2 loaves of bread (breadmaker again)
went to Tesco twice
made bed twice
mad tidying before dp's brother showed up yesterday
lots of washing up

still doens't look that good does it. Ho hum

tortoise · 04/03/2007 15:14

Been to town now. Its awful out there.
DD's loved it though and did lots of splashing! DD1 slipped on a muddy edge straight on her bum.
I dragged an empty buggy all the way there and back. Normally one of them wants to get in 5mins up the road but not today!

Will make a start on the kitchen in a min. Muddy and wet load of washing now on!!

Fresh air has woken me up a bit which is good.

Bewilder thats a fine list. Some look longer because it lists everything done in a day not just extra bits.

We will make flapjacks(as usual) later.

wheresthevalium · 04/03/2007 15:17

Ok, can someone explain the whole 'fly' thing to me please?

ludaloo · 04/03/2007 15:22

Wheresthevalium.....

All About FLYing Here

Hope that helps

shouldbedoingthehousework · 04/03/2007 15:27

~big clear-up upstairs - I'm hoping to rope the kids in to help trying to do not getting far though!
~clear out ds's room ready for decorating (! HUGE job!) done but just dumped in spare room
~need to iron school stuff for tomorrow
~usual everyday downstairs stuff - dw etc doing as I go along
~work stuff

Not doing great but never mind...

Dd was fine this morning but is going downhill again now Hope to get them to bed early...

wheresthevalium · 04/03/2007 16:21

Wow, looks like it could help me, will give it a go

ludaloo · 04/03/2007 17:23

It is very helpful..well I think so anyway This thread is the best bit of FLYing though, it motivates me more than the FLY site itself.

I have now vaccumed, and tidied the kitchen.
The Bathroom needs a bit of attention, so will give it a swish round when I bath the kids later!

Better go and get tea sorted out, and make packed lunches for tomorrow!

Hello again ALL

Some great flying done this weekend. BIG UPS to us all.

Final list of dones

Put clean dry laundry away
Check damp washing for td (it can hang over night tbh)
Take down DS train set
Put it away
roll out front room rug
Vac downstairs floors
Do ironing
Take upstairs and put away
Get DS's uniform ready for morning
Clean mine and DS shoes.

Am taking it steady from now on. DH has made dinner so I have very little to do now. Ice cream looks fantabulous tbh, hope it tastes good. If it does I have plans to adapt the recipe for other flavours.

Have wonderful evenings, love to all and your los

shouldbedoingthehousework · 04/03/2007 18:55

I find the thread the most useful part too wheresthevalium, it's very supportive and a great place to find motivation (which I find is often lacking for me when it comes to domestic stuff!) Welcome - hope to see you here in the week

I've had a quick burst this eve and am able to relax now knowing the house is reasonably up-to-date ready for the morning

Have good eves everyone

glitterfairy · 04/03/2007 19:06

hi everyone have done my roast dinner and am on the third load of washing up. I miss my dishwasher!

Have also
hoovered the kitchen and tidied
Ds and dd have tidied his room

Getting everything ready for school in morning
Have also taken two eldest to ballet and had lovely lunch with my youngest as always and bought her a good behaviour heart from a craft shop/gallery we went to to look at paintings together.
Put away all washing

Am off to relax after more washing up!

HazelNuts · 04/03/2007 19:56

Hi all

Hiya luda {{WAVES BACK}} My head has not been tobad today.

What a crap day for the weather We got soaked going to get some bread. We had to go out as needed the bread for DSs lunches tomorrow.

glitterfairy I cooked a roast dinner today aswell. HNtree came over for a roast. I`m still stuffed from it. I had to do the washing up by hand as I forgot to get tabs for the dish washer There was no way I could leave the dishes until I get some more. The plates were ect were ok, but the pots and pans, they were hard work and have not got the shine on them like they have when washed by the dishwasher.

DD is better today. Still not right but her nose and eyes have stopped streaming now and she seems happier in herself.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday evening after todays yuk weather. I hope it is better tomorrow for the DC going to school.

glitterfairy · 04/03/2007 22:05

Hiya hazelnuts I have found that fairy spray wonderful and works well on getting everything clean if you leave it on for half an hour prior to washing up. Pots and pans less hard work as well.

louismummy · 04/03/2007 22:21
