whats a "swish and swipe"???

LadyMacbeth · 01/03/2007 13:43

What's a 'swish and swipe' Surfermum? Sounds like an induction method.

LadyMacbeth · 01/03/2007 13:43

x-posts ww.

Surfermum · 01/03/2007 13:50

Lol! It does doesn't it?!

You swish round the toilet bowl with the bleach and swipe round the seat, lid and outside of the bowl with a wet wipe.

Ceolas · 01/03/2007 13:53

Bleach every day?

Less hastle anyways - and we don't have limescale build up either..I don't think I've ever said that before in my life

VeniVidiVickiQV · 01/03/2007 16:26

I do so hate the phrase "rim blocks"

Cistern bleach blocks here and not a loo brush in sight.
DP insists they are the devil's tools and full of germs and pooey bits-rubber gloves and a good old scrub with a scourer-her not me-her choice not to have loo brushes so she does the honours.

southeastastra · 01/03/2007 16:34

my nan had one in her spare loo and i used to love to sniff it when we went round there. haven't got one myself, my children would eat it or it'd get flushed away and bung something up.

mommajools · 01/03/2007 16:39

i thought blue water was posh!!

I am not allowed these apparently...we have the draining for the whole street running through the back garden so if I/we/ds2 blocks it oncemore,we have to pay..

No,no loo thingys here anymore

TheArmadillo · 01/03/2007 16:41

no cos the plumbers fees were too high when they kept blocking up the toilet.

PrincessPeaHead · 01/03/2007 16:44

I've just started with loo blocks to counteract ds1 and 2s habit of not flushing the loo EVER and me taking up to 12 hours to notice.

But I, cunningly, have found some which DON'T colour the water, so nobody knows they are there but ME mwahahahahahahahaha

PrincessPeaHead · 01/03/2007 16:44

oh and they go in the cistern.

the james bonds of loo blocks

Monkeytrousers · 01/03/2007 16:51

DP still sits down but that's just cos he's lazy. He never flushes though

Whoooosh · 01/03/2007 17:49
