Following someone's tip on here I poured cheap cola down the toilet and left it overnight in an attempt to shift stained limescale at the bottom. All it did was to stain every bit of limescale dark brown like those disclosing tablets that show how you're not brushing your teeth properly.
What doesn't work for you?

Cola down loo gave me brown linescske too!! Bicarbonate of soda and vinegar in the oven didn't work either

The dishwasher tablet to clean the oven door. Just a waste of dishwasher tablet and crumbly mess.

Hairspray doesn't get pen off leather, coke down toilet is crap and Zoflora is shit. IMO

I'm glad you said that Water cos that was on my to try list.

Oh and don't bother buying hair remover to put down your shower and bath wastes cos that's useless too. j
Just use a wire coat hanger or something similar that you can grab hair with.

borax and bi carb as a carpet freshener, home made aspirin face mask are two memorable fails.

Homemade spray stain remover with ammonia and a few other things did bugger all. But hairspray genuinely did get an old ink stain out of a shirt pocket. I was amazed.

A hot hairdryer did not remove a sticky residue left by a massive sticker on my cake tray. Neither did peanut butter.

Also the hot hairdryer heated up the cake tray and hurt my hand.

I had great success with dishwasher tablet on oven door with a cheap hard tablet and a crumbly ness with an expensive one. Also found hair remover doesn't work in shower drains, nor bicarb in the oven, I have wasted many evenings on this sort of stuff, many many evenings. But I like zoflora !

The dishwasher tab/oven door didn't work for me either.

The dishwasher tablet on on my oven made it look like new! I crushed it up in a cloth and it took about 10 mins. Maybe it's because I buy cheap 2 in 1 aldi ones?

Lidl dishwasher tablets worked really well on my long term filthy oven door.

Coke in the toilet does nothing - Denture tablets in toilet did seem to work but only when the water level was reduced first and I had to use lots of tablets.

zoflora is amazing though. makes the house smell lovely.

Tesco Value dishwasher tablets work like a miracle on my oven door.

More expensive ones don't work as well.

I used tesco value dishwasher tablets. I don't understand how they can make a difference for some people but not others.

Harpic tablets work a treat for limescaled toilet bowl.

Coke on clothing to remove oil stains does not work.
