Do you ventilate your bedroom every morning?

Recently I've found my bedding to be damp and I'm pretty sure it's because of lack of ventilation. Should I open my windows to air the room even if it's cold outside? Also would you recommend the use of a dehumidifier as we get a lot of condensation.
Thanks

Windows/ doors should be opened for at least 10 minutes a day summer and winter to allow air to circulate through the house .Leaving windows on tilt all day or night will only cause the walls of the house to get cold and therefore cause more problems with damp and mould. As Frostnixon stated above it is written into all rental agreements in Germany and if mould appears in a house the tenant will be deemed responsible. It does work though.

I live in a ground floor flat on quite a busy road so don't like to open my windows properly but I do open them slightly so that they're still locked but open an inch or two, I leave them like this for most of the day if I'm at home unless it is exceptionally cold

Bedroom window is left open all day when we are out at work & school and closed when we arrive home. I've a great heating system so even on a really cold day it heats up quickly. Kitchen window gets opened anytime we are cooking
