After accidentally giving birth all over my bathroom carpet(13 months ago)i think it is about time that i threw out the rug that is covering the 'stains' and got something new.

we are about to get the whole bathroom done

is lino really that much better than normal tiles? doesn't it go all manky if it gets really wet?

I think lino better and I recommend it to all my clients (am an Interior Designer). Its more forgiving than tiles for children, softer and warmer underfoot and easy to clean (doesnt get at all manky when wet, nor slippery wither). Hope that helps. Check out forbo nairn's website, no link to hand and DS pulling at my sleeves to no time to find it now....

Amtico not Karndean - had Amtico in my old house, it was great, have Karndean here and it has scratched easily and stained
