What dishwasher would you recommend?

Horrifyingly our dishwasher seems to be on its way out. crosses fingers and hopes it will last to new year. We need to replace it.

We had a Bosch one that was rubbish and never seemed to work very well. This one is a hotpoint and has been ok.

Oh wise mumsnetters, what dishwasher would you recommend? We are a family of 4 so it is used at least once a day. I want easy to load and efficient cleaning. Thanks.

You can get some lovely dishwashers here at really good prices:-)

Even though they're not the best appliance manufacturer (and I wouldn't really consider them for a clothes washing machine) - Both DM and I have Hotpoint Dishwashers and I have very impressed with them.

Sorry, THIS is the one I have.

It is only about 18 month old, but it has been great so far, cleans great, and has lots of cycles; even a "soak" cycle (a 10 minute rinse cycle that you can run after each meal throughout the day so the machine doesn't get smelly whilst waiting for the main cycle - I haven't seen that feature on a dishwasher for about 15 years).

Been very happy with it.

I've got a Beko slim line. Very happy with it. Good make, reasonable price.
