Slight zoflora addiction

Hi, I was on the last zoflora thread but can't seem to find it.

I've been shopping tonight ( Asda ) and bought a couple more bottles of winter morning as I do when I see them.
Came home, goes to cleaning cupboard and there is no room for said bottles, I have around 25 bottles of bloody Zoflo Blush

I need to restrain myself from buying and then get my arse in gear, have a massive winter clean and get rid of some of it.
Anyone else still loving theirs?

Would be interested to see how different people use it, I tend to put mine in mop bucket, use on sink and worktops and my favourite is skirting boards.
Oh and I was diagnosed with OCD last week, makes a lot of sense!!

I'm enlightened with the fb page! Who knew!
Loving springtime at the mo. It's not sickly or overwhelming, just right. Did the kitchen with it today and DH commented how nice it smelled!
Can't say I have mamushka but I would be gutted too! There's plenty of fragrances to try though haha. What did you use it on? Maybe avoid putting it in laundry?!

CurbsideProphet · 30/01/2017 07:46

I would also use it as a good excuse to try different ones Grin

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 30/01/2017 10:34

It's arrived!!!

I'm just off to do my sink now. My very first Zoflora experience! 😂

How did you get on Malcolm?
Ohh I love it Prancer! Such a pretty box too- does it smell good? I've never seen it in store so might have to do an online purchase. This addiction is getting out of hand!

PrancerForHoney · 31/01/2017 13:13

Oh yeah...it smells lovely. It removed the scrambled eggs smell out of the kitchen this morning quite nicely ☺

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 31/01/2017 16:39

I thought it was fantastic, TheLionQueen! However, DH was not so sure. He sniffed very suspiciously when he came into the kitchen and said he could smell something 'strange'. I've got Linen and Twilight coming shortly, so I shall try those too. Going to wipe around the outside of the loo with the Winter Spice as it's quite similar to the smell of my reed diffuser in there. If DH still complains, then I might have a shed load of Winter Spice which I can post out to anyone who wants it! Blush

He'd better like the Linen one though or I might have to LTB.

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 31/01/2017 16:40

Oh and I meant to ask, how many capfuls in a (really quite deep) sink? I did two, was that too much?

CurbsideProphet · 31/01/2017 21:45

Malcom I don't really measure, I just tip some in!

PrancerForHoney · 01/02/2017 07:36

I normally just tip too. It depends how much smell I want. I also chuck the dishcloths in with it too.
This morning I washed the fireplace tiles with Sweetpea. My front room smells lovely now as it's drying. Better than dead ashes.

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 01/02/2017 08:14

Ooh, Sweetpea! That sounds lovely. I'm not sure which local supermarkets stock Zoflora, I might have to go on a shopping expedition!

It's a shame the Zoflora website doesn't sell it directly...

BitchyInnerMonologue · 01/02/2017 11:09

I hate you all - you've reduced me to tears! Sad

I saw this thread and (I'm off sick today) remembered that I had an old bottle that my mum gave me - years ago before she died - that I've never touched because I didn't know what to do with it! Blush

Opened it today and it still smells... added some to my sink to clean it - and it's my mum's house smell; clean, fresh and welcoming.

So now I'm crying on the couch - but in a good way. I have a clean kitchen and I've wiped down my radiators and it's just lovely.

Thank you! Flowers

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 01/02/2017 11:35

Oh, Bitchy, I know what you mean. I have a really old jar of pot-pourri from my Grandad's house, which was in the bedroom I always stayed in. It's been 27 years since he died, but every time I open the lid, I'm instantly transported back. It still gets me, sometimes. Funny how smells can do that to you. Flowers

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 01/02/2017 11:36

And on a lighter note - Twilight Garden, I LOVE it!!! 😍

BitchyInnerMonologue · 01/02/2017 12:21

Apple blossom. It's lovely. May have to go on a sniff test now I know it's fab!

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 02/02/2017 09:11

Quick question - can I mix it with water and use it in my iron? Would make the clothes smell beautiful, but don't want to damage them (or the iron!).

TheLionQueen · 02/02/2017 10:51

Aw Bitchy Flowers smells do that to me too, more so than music or pictures I find.
Glad it went well Malcolm my DH was quite suspicious at first cos the house actually smelled clean but he's come round to it now, springtime is his favourite too. He was asking me if 'that stuff that you use' was safe for the car plastics! Convert.
Not sure about the iron question in all honesty- I know you can use it in a steam cleaner if theres a separate bit for detergent. I suppose it wouldn't be that different to ironing water? I've sprayed it on curtains and been fine but different fabric might be risky.

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 02/02/2017 11:08

Well DH DEFINITELY doesn't like Winter Spice really wish I hadn't bought that one in bulk so I've got 14/15 bottles if anyone would like some (or all!) of them. Happy to send free of charge to whoever PMs me first!

However, he DOES like Twilight Garden and even bought me some at Tesco last night, although he didn't pay attention to me asking him for more than one bottle!

I might try making up some water for my iron and use it on some old tea-towels, so it doesn't matter if they get ruined...

CurbsideProphet · 03/02/2017 21:59

Bitchy there's something about smells that can bring back memories. I've just made a dessert that a relative used to make before they developed dementia. The smell and taste has taken me right back to my childhood Smile

MintToBe · 04/02/2017 15:38

Let the spring cleaning begin!

Katietwinmum · 04/02/2017 16:00

Aww Bitchy it's amazing the power of smells isn't it.

Got Bouquet this week really nice - And twilight garden.

I use a bit in my dream iron - the cinnamon one and it works a treat - iron seems fine

MintToBe · 05/02/2017 12:01

So this is from a wonderful MNetter. Flowers for you.
I've just refilled my reed diffusers with some and placed them on the radiators. OMG the house smells gorgeous . Better than the cow byre chucking it up outside!
