Logik washing machines - any good?

Have been looking at Logik washing machines and wondering if they are any good? Does anyone have a Logik machine and if so, would you recommend it? It's not a brand that's really registered with me before - but I've seen one for a reasonable price and am tempted. It's actually for a friend and I don't want to land her with something that's pretty crappy Though I guess you take pot luck with whatever you buy.

I wouldn't say it's going to be the best or last the longest (I believe the avg. selling price is £160 - some clothing themselves costs more than that!).

I've never had one, and don't know anyone who has, but they might be perfectly adequate.

Problem is these days, we want things at the best price possible, and of course manufacturers want us to buy their products and buy them regularly, so it's a "race to the bottom" now.

If you're friend has the budget, I have heard some great things about the Beko washing machines, and they're not much dearer.

Thanks, e1y1 - we've actually just been looking at a couple of Beko machines. Similar in price, as you say, and seem to fit the bill, so probably going to go with one of those. Looked at the Which website too, and many Logik machines were classed as "don't buy" - not heartening!
