Morning all,

luda - your car trouble sucks

Thanks for best wishes about DD1's knee. She is ok, still sore but fine. Her eye is another matter - trying to get eye drops in her is horrific. It two of us to restrain her. There is no way she can have it 4x a day as i'll have to wait for DH to help me

I have just been a good girl and done Kelly's mission. Took about 10 minutes and I found stuff I forgot I'd had Very pleased though as i have made room for a few bits that have been on the worktops for ages It was also on my list of To Dos,

Have a good day everyone

laloop · 07/02/2007 09:07

laloop · 07/02/2007 09:08

Hi shouldbe and satin - glad to hear your dd's are doing ok

laloop · 07/02/2007 09:10

satin - what age is your dd? I used to put eye drops in during their nap when mine where very small. Don't know if this helps x

shouldbedoingthehousework · 07/02/2007 09:20

you have my sympathy with giving eye drops satin - both my lo's had conjunctivitus a couple of years ago and it was awful! Ds was small enough to mostly catch during a nap but dd had to be held down - very traumatic for all of us! Good Luck

satinshoes · 07/02/2007 09:42

DD is 3 next month. has dropped daytime naps

Hey Ruby - I did wonder if there was something you hadn't told me!!!

Not much official flying going on in the Android household at the moment, but I am keeping on top of things.

I have been busy setting up an after school art class, helping at school and then today - oh my goodness - I have my interview for art college!!!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me....

Hi ruby sorry your lo is poorly.
Hi android good look with art college.Art students where always the cool ones when I was at comp.

ParanoidAndroid · 07/02/2007 09:55

I don't think I could ever honestly be described as dynamic!!! It sounds good though I'm just doing things I love at the moment which is great for the motivation.

Flying has helped me by giving me the mental space to do the things I love, if you see what I mean. I used to be a) eaten up by guilt at doing anything for me when there was just SO much to do in the house and b) confused by the huge 'to do' list. But now I am doing things without noticing them, or without consciously thinking about them, and that allows me the time and mental space to go and paint or think about other things.

I have to say that I am going through quite a big 'up' period at the moment (hooray!) and I haven't been this positive for a while. I'm sure that feeling better about the state of the house contributes to that. It's ironic that when I'm depressed I can't do the housework which has a positive side-effect. But hey, that's life.

How are you and your family? I was so sorry to hear about your MiL.

ParanoidAndroid · 07/02/2007 09:57

Thanks EllieHsmum - I like to think I'm cool!!! (she says, having spent blooming hours trying to work out what to wear to this interview - I don't want to look too boring or uncool!! I'm sure if I really was cool, I would just wear whatever I put my hands on first.....)
