Morning all.

Better nights sleep last night Have an awful feeling i might have thrush as when b/f DD i am getting shooting pains in my breasts Luckily i have my 6 week check this afternoon so will ask the Dr when he thinks. luda growth spurt plus possible thrush will explain extra feeding and gassiness of DD.

DD2 still has a cold so we're missing tumble club this morning. Will try and do some h/w between looking after the 2 of them. already sorted d/w and had breakfast.

need to get dressed and try and sort the washing out.

have a good day all.

taylormama · 23/01/2007 08:56

hi all - feeling v delicate and not because of too much wine (!). Basically had 3.5 hours sleep because had a mahoosive event at work so v v v v v v late night - i will try to tackle the mission but may have to take it v v v v v slow lol!! Wishing everyone a good day.

ludaloo · 23/01/2007 09:25

Morning ladies

tort sounds confusing but hopefully he'll make the right decision

satin It sounds like thrush I think, I had it with dd2, she had lots of white circles or spots in her mouth but I actually had no visible signs, just pain during feeding, and a bit of itchiness. Dr prescribed an anti fungal mouthwash thing for dd and Canesten cream for me. Ds also had it in his nappy area We were riddled!!!!

taylormama You sound knackered! Make sure you get a small nap in somewhere!!! and take it easy

*glitter......link is brill!

I was lying in bed this morning and thought of a list but I've forgotten the majority of it now!

I do have to:
~Empty dishwasher
~Do washing
~Tidy upstairs
~Empty a basket of crap from on top of the wardrobe and bring it downstairs to put the current bills/paperwork in (I have decided to have current bills in the basket and put it away in the computer cupboard, then once a week I can take it all upstairs to file it away thats the theory anyway.)

Right well off to it! see you in a bit xx

glitterfairy · 23/01/2007 09:35

Good Morning

Just home from the school run - freezing cold but no snow - just v icy.

This morning is my child-free time so I need to make some progress~

~hoover downstairs
~mop floors downstairs
~wipe round kitchen
~sort hotspot in kitchen
~put ironing away
~mission in bedroom
~s&s cloakroom
~clean shoes
~start looking at household filing?...would rather not...

Can't do any washing cos wm is still broken and neighbour is home from her weekend away and therefore using her machine herself today.

I'm really tired and still can't really shake the low mood Need to find some upbeat music and get on. Back later x

grouchyoscar · 23/01/2007 09:48

Hello All

Just got time for a quick 'morning all' then I must knucle down to some proper work.

This morning my done list is

Up and showered
Dressed
Bathroom S&S
Loo S&S
Load WM
Make breakfast
Tidy up
Clean sink
Clean table
Wash DS
Run teatree and witch hazel through DS hair
Dress Ds
Take him to school
Come home
Empty WM
Sort out for drying
Put DS's clothes to dry
Try to encourage DH to take up American Football again (he said he's too old and it's too competative)

I'm trying to decide whether to take DS swimming today but is it fair as it's blimming cold. Plus he's a terrible handful at times so do I need a wet, over entusiastic budle of chaos in the cold twilight type hassle?

Or should I take it easy?

Must do my physio exercises today so I better crack on TTFN

EllieHsMum · 23/01/2007 09:52

ludaloo · 23/01/2007 13:10

EHM which MN are you meeting??

grouchyoscar · 23/01/2007 14:30

Satin Luda and Jelley WOW!

Was obliged to stay at home as DSS had a thwack on the head at nursery and a big cry so he seems a little other worldly. He'll be OK but he didn't need imersing in water into the bargain.

This afts flying so far
Do physio exercises (and these are supposed to make me better? I was wacked and it was only 30 mins
Vac downstairs
Empty DW
Put away
Collect DS
Remove uniform and put him in jimjams
Make lunch (homemade soup and sandwiches
Tidy up
Build a tent for DS
Improve tent (move all kitchen chairs to front room and collect all king size sheets
Make mash potato for the cowboy pie topping.
Load and run DW
S&S Kitchen
Play with DS (in his tent)

See you soon...byeeeeeeeeeeee xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ludaloo · 23/01/2007 15:09

grouchy oooch I hope ds is ok! Probably wise not to take him swimming really.
What is cowboy pie?? It sounds very intriguing!

Well I have now finished the last few things off my list and have cleaned the hamster out too. (I hate that job and it is ALWAYS ME that does it!!)

I am happy to report that I have all the ingredients for the cake, so I'm going to do that when I prepare dinner, then we can have it for desert

I watched an episode of Anthea's PerfectHouswife a while back and on it she said Unloading the dishwasher should take no more than 6 minutes.. maximum. I often think about this as I unload mine, and wonder how she knows this! She must have timed herself several times to get an estimate!??? (I imagine it to be the sort of thing she might do!!) So today I decided to time myself...without rushing and doing it as I always do...It took 5mins 17secs
(and I was drying bits as I went along too)

I AM REALLY SAD AREN'T I!!!!!!

EllieHsMum · 23/01/2007 15:25

Everybody is doing really well

Ludaloo I met mumcab she is lovely & due her 3rd baby in couple of months. We have agreed to meet up again soon. I really enjoyed the chat.I am going to time myself next time I empty the dishwasher
Jelley Love the picture on your profile, who is the cutie?
satin Sorry to hear about the snot. Doing well as always.
Taylormama Look after yourself today.
Shouldbe You are doing well.
Grouchy What is cow pie?

Right not got much more done as I have been out for a few hours.
I am off to make lasagne for tea & then start the dreaded Ironing Moutain.

Ta Ta for now.x.
