I have just read over the end of yesterdays thread...
shouldbe I hope you are feeling better today, I'm sorry I missed your posts yesterday. I know you probably have lots of people to chat to, but if you want, my address is ludaloo at lycos dot com, I'm always around if you fancy a moan or a chat, we all get like that at times xxx

I have no plans for today apart from the odd bit of washing. Dd1 has a party to go to tommorrow so I need to get organised for that too.

Thanks tort That Marslady is a clever bean!!! Has she got her own website??? I'm very new to cooking...I generally avoid it but have recently found I can do it quite well! My sponge is notibly better recently! I will definately give this a go!!!

Grouchy You know I read the first line of your post and thought your Ds was telling you YOU had done a poo...then my mind boggled when you said it was that, and a nightime leak!!! (then I re read it and it made better sense!!!!...I'm a bit dim at times!!! lololol!!)

~ send the last of the thankyou notes ( I keep neglecting this one!)
~ ironing
~ walk the dog done
~ put new towels in airing cupboard and sort out tatty ones done
~ find item to be returned to Cotswold
~ find receipt for faulty item to be returned to Hawkshead

I'll try to get the rest done this afternoon/evening. It doesn't help that the kids and I have been playing Monopoly on and off. I love board games and its a good excuse not to do some real tasks!

Yes, I slept through thanks luda. I would really have liked to have gone back to bed after breakfast, though. Never mind. I'll iron what we need for work and school tomorrow in a minute and then I won't feel too far behind. I've decided that I'll get something made from fresh then frozen from the freezer tonight ready for tea tomorrow. I did that for lunch today too. With dh away atm I could do with a few shortcuts.

Well, downstairs is looking pretty good - just need to empty the dw when it finishes and shine my sink. I finally bought some flowers for downstairs too so it's looking (and hopefully will be smelling) lovely. The td is still in the hall b/c it has to be out of the way ready fo the wm repair man to come again in the week so that slightly spoils the look of things but never mind. I haven't had the heart to pack away the game of lego that the lo's were playing yesterday so that's also out everywhere in the playroom but that's what the room's for after all
Upstairs is coming along. There's more to put away and I've been gathering all the loose papers from around and about so they're all in a heap atm - again, it should be a short term problem so not too bad.

I've had swan lake on TV while I've been tidying - shame dd isn't here, she'd love it. Maybe MIL has noticed it's on and is letting her watch it.

I'm off to empty next door's wm and load our td. Will do the kitchen after that.

Had cheese and tomato pasta bake in the end, with garlic bread and a bit of a salad. Nice and quick, and like you ivor my dh is not here, so he can't object! (he's not a big pasta fan)and anything quick and filling helps!!!!! The kids are still eating...I'm just scoffing all the garlic bread! I bet I smell LOVELY!!!!!!

My kitchen is nearly spottless! Just one worktop to go and floor to wash.

My dinner is cooking. Carrot and parsnip soup.Not tried it yet so i hope its nice!

No Marslady doesn't have a website afaik.Its miaou's website. I saw it posted for someone else the other day so saved the site.It is the best cake ever!! And fool proof!! Going to try the cocolate version next.DS's didn't like the lemon.

Think i might try and log in to isketch for a quick game!

dog is on lap as I wsa sitting here eatinbg my pudding and had the tv turned towards me. tehere is a wildlife programme on the tv which she loves so she insisted on climbing up so that she can see! now leans her chin on my ledt hand! what we do for our dogs!

I've mopped floors down stairs today.
Wiped couch with anticbac wipes
Cleaned downstairs toilet in/out, floor,skirtingboards & Basin.
Wiped down kitchen after massive babyfood making session yesterday afternoon.Now all in the freezer.
Changed sheets on cot.
Changed bedding on our bed.
4 out of 5 loads of washing done.

Hope I haven't missed anybody lots of posts & lots of names.

Last work top done and floor scrubbed on hands and knees!
Front room still a pit! Lol!

Can't log into isketch at mo.

Going to have warm lemon cake and custard in a mo. have to wait for floor to dry though.

Oops HN very sorry I missed you off. Hope all is ok & your comupter is sorted.

My babies are home and tucked up asleep in their beds - dh is making supper
Ds did that weird thing that kids do and went to sleep with his eyes open - freaks me out a bit It's nice to have them back - I've really missed them, the house was v quiet today.

Downstairs still looks great (not that I'm blowing my own trumpet or anything!) but upstairs needs more work. I didn't have the chance to mop the floors so will do that in the week.
