I did another link

That's my day improved already then

Still feeling a bit worse for wear (can't sleep properly at the moment and can't even blame it on ds cos he's been a little bit better at staying in his own bed this last few nights) but both kids are out for the morning so I need to do something with my time alone. I'm in the no gumption club again today grouchy
~make beds
~hoover downstairs - dd walked in her muddy boots right through the house this morning form the back door to the front
~missions in bathroom
~quick tidy of mine and dh's wardrobe
~sit down and a nice cup of tea

See you all later x

Hi shouldbe - well done link, I really rely on others doingthis!

My DD is still crying and clinging onto me when I drop her off at school. Has been 2 weeks of this now and is wearing me down. Everyday is under a black cloud and wasn't helped by DH telling me to 'pull myself together'.

So have not been flying - have kept on top of things but haven't posted much. Today is my mum's birthday and she is coing over later so I need to tidy up a bit!

My list:

-dc's rooms
-swish and swipe kitchen and living room
-hoover downstairs
-fold and put washing away
-dw
-wm
-mission (sounds fun today!)

Think we should all copy shouldbe's last one...

-sit down and a cup of tea

Jelley · 18/01/2007 10:10

There were two Thursday threads, so I've linked everything here.

I've read a bit, but not really taken much in. I am full of flu now. At least the dds are back at school, but ds is not well either

I went to bed at 7.30 last night, and left dirty dishes and clutter everywhere, so I need to do a bit of tidying this morning.
I'm just going to plod through it and do as much as I can.

Hello shouldbe, DT and Jelley.

My day started late with ds saying it was 7.40am. Whoops! Ds managed to catch the bus but dd wasn't ready in time so I took her to town. Did a couple of jobs while I was there.

DT Sorry that your dh doesn't understand how upsetting it is when a child doesn't settle quickly. Enjoy your Mum's birthday. Will you have a cake and candles?

Jelley 7.30pm? We're being really naughty at the moment and going to bed around 11.30pm. I don't think I can fall asleep until 10.30pm at the earliest.

My list for today:-
~ dry the clothes I washed yesterday
~ unload d/w
~ buy dd new PJs done
~ get tyres checked at Kwik Fit done
~ buy dog food and bird seed done
~ empty the car as it was a tip done
~ sort out the junk from the car
~ decide what we are having for tea
~ put the new towels in the airing cupboard. I'll probably need to empty it and chuck stuff first.
~ sit down with a cup of tea

ludaloo · 18/01/2007 12:21

Right I'm back....god I'm not with it today!!!

I think the mission is wiping door handles etc down today is it not?
Try clicking the link at the bottom of this page...I think it has the right day on it.

Ok...I have to
~do mission
~do dishwasher
~load of washing
~hoover
~general pick up

Have not actually done any of that yet

I'd better get going its gone midday already!!!

Flamesparrow1001010120120510 · 18/01/2007 12:50

Done sod all

I don't have any rubbing alcohol... how about whiskey

Jelley · 18/01/2007 13:22

I'm not wasting whisky on door handles!

I'd use babywipes if I was going to do the mission, which I'm not

I've done a load of washing and most of the washing up. I've shopped and been tothe dentist.

Ivor midnight is normal bedtime for me, but a combination of flu, and non sleeping baby is catching up with me. I'm thinking 8 would be a good bedtime tonight.

JustIvor · 18/01/2007 13:22

My list for today:-
~ dry the clothes I washed yesterday on line
~ unload d/w done
~ buy dd new PJs done
~ get tyres checked at Kwik Fit done
~ buy dog food and bird seed done
~ empty the car as it was a tip done
~ sit down with a cup of tea just had lunch
~ walk the dog done
~ ring the Music Education chap done
~ ring music teacher done
Off to do the rest:-
~ sort out the junk from the car
~ decide what we are having for tea
~ put the new towels in the airing cupboard. I'll probably need to empty it and chuck stuff first.

Sorry, I don't do the missions (yet; I may do sometime) so I can't help on that. The alcohol thing sounds interesting though. I have some liqueur that is so strong it is almost impossible to drink, I wouldn't mind using that!

luda I had to go to town first thing and popped into the new Matalan. There was a band playing inside by the entrance and balloons. The car park filled right up in about 10 mins. I just bought some PJs for dd and got out of there.

JustIvor · 18/01/2007 13:25

Do you find that midnight is too late though Jelley? I think dh particularly needs to be in bed by about 10.30pm because his working days are pretty tough i.e. chairing meetings that last 5 hours (with lunch in the middle.) I'd like us to switch the PC off at 10.30pm so that we would be prompted to get a decent nights sleep.

Hey grouchyoscar you are doing well! I wonder if we should have a jokey "Well done" certificate like the one you can get on the BBC Maths website my kids use. take a look here, play the game and get a certificate.

JustIvor · 18/01/2007 15:17

No one else here atm? Are you all busy doing housework, playing on the maths website, sorting out broken fences and the like, fetching children early from school or ... or ... or .... don't know?
