tortoise - no idea about the pain - hope you feel better tody.

shouldbe - now why didn't we think of th utility room. Glad it turned up.

woodlandfairy - there are no failures on FL. You just try again the next day.

Flame - hoping you feel better today. xx

I'm going to try and get back to bed. ds is not a happy baby.

Jelley - I really appreciate the encouragement and support from these pages too, it's a great help.
I really hope you managed to get back to sleep, poor you. Do you manage to rest much in the day after these broken nights? I do hope so. I can't believe I didn't think of looking in my utility room either! Now it's all lovely and tidy it's an obvious place for a 3 year old to hide a dvd box

hello to everyone else, sorry I haven't caught up prperly for a few days have just been really busy.

I'm pleased with the mission today cos I did it on Saturday too

I don't seem to have had much time to get much done so far this week but keeping my sink shiney and leaving all clothes/school bags and so on ready the night before is really helping

Today I ought to ~

~clean upstairs bathroom
~try to find some time (but have ds at home)to start new filing system for household papers etc (I am awful at this)
~clear out cupboard in kitchen that houses plastic storage boxes etc
~washing
~put yesterdays washing away
~change kids beds

I'm going to leave it there cos ds and I will be at toddler group this morning so won't be around for half the day anyway.

glitterfairyrenewed · 10/01/2007 07:54

HI guys. Am going to try and do this mission as it will make me feel better. Am just about keeping my head above water but know that soon I will have to blitz certain rooms. Today is my eldest 12th birthday and am trying to make it the best day possible for her despite school and ballet and stuff going on she is having a sleepover on Saturday so am clearing my ds room for that.

ludaloo · 10/01/2007 09:25

Hi All..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your dd glitterfairy Ivor I'm not set up for CAT...(how do I do that?) But yes...we'll arrange it via email

Re mission: I did this yesterday as I was unloading shopping!

I'm off to a friends for lunch today (can you tell I have a car now!!)but I'll be mainly trying to do a general tidy, and get the kids bedrooms back to some kind of order!

See you in a bit xx

ludaloo · 10/01/2007 09:31

Ivor I've just unblocked the CAT bit in my registration..if thats any help!

Tort How are your ribs today? I've just read the end of yesterdays thread. No Idea what it could be...have you banged it at all??

shouldbe AAHHHH the Utility room!! Glad you found it!

satinshoes · 10/01/2007 09:34

Morning all.
Tiring night as DD was up from 4-7am. DH had to come in at 5.30 and take her off me as I was so frazzled but that meant i got an hours sleep before DD1 woke up.

DD1 off to preschool now and DD2 sleeping like an angel. Had planned to do lots today but now cant be ar$ed so will put a load in the w/m and d/w and get my breakfast THEN DO NOTHING

I find these threads a good help though. The main 2 kitchen jobs I have to do this week are clean the fride and the oven. neither of which I feel like doing so maybe tomorrow...

Good day to all.

glitterfairyrenewed · 10/01/2007 09:35

THanks ludaloo. Am off to ride my bike now for an hour! Have done one load of washing up though first. Am supposed to be working!

Can I just ask why everyone highlights names on this thread? It is very interesting and makes it easier to see where people are responding to one poster or to many.

satinshoes · 10/01/2007 09:37

glitter - we highlight names for the reasons you mention. Much easier to see if people are posting to one person or to all.

Jelley · 10/01/2007 09:38

except me, as forget to do it sometimes

OP posts:
ludaloo · 10/01/2007 09:43

Morning satin...early mornings are the worst!!!

glitterfairy...I highlight because I've only recently noticed it tells you how to do it!
I only actually read the instructions on how to do it a few weeks ago! and I've been MNetting for ages!! (I couldn't do links until recently either) I'm a bit dim on occassions!!!!!!!!! But yes...I like to highlight then it is clearer..and I like to see my name in bold too...it makes me feel special (sad? ...me?)

glitterfairyrenewed · 10/01/2007 09:55

LOl ludaloo and satin and Jelley yep it makes sense especially when the lists have done in bold as well.

Cappuccino · 10/01/2007 10:00

ooh I did that mission yesterday!

today I have cleaned my kitchen window and sill and the storage canisters on it

done washing and hung it on the airer; folded and put away yesterday's laundry

was uber-organised last night and did packed lunches before I went to be rather than scrabbling around with ham at 7.30am

off to work for a couple of hours now

satinshoes · 10/01/2007 10:07

LUDALOO what about bold and capitals?

ok, d/w unloaded and reloaded,
w/m on
bins taken out - how good is that on a rainy day?

tea being drunk

tortoise · 10/01/2007 10:13

Morning everyone.

jelley Hope you got some more sleep.
satin Sorry you've not had much sleep.

Pain is on and off.Not really bad just there.Bit windy so i still think its that!! Will see how it goes today.

Jobs for today
~ Check if fridge needs cleaning!
~ Wipe front of fridge and freezer.
~ Tidy Hardly used dining table!
~ Sweep floor.
~ Tidy toys in front room.
~ Tidy Desk.
~ Hoover.

That will do for now.

ludaloo · 10/01/2007 10:32

Capitals and Bold!!!! AWWWW I feel super special now!!
Thanks SATIN

Ok I've..
~unloaded/reloaded dishwasher
~unloaded/reloaded washing machine
~loaded tumble dryer
~cleaned the george foreman grill thingy (its been mingin for days..just the lid shut on it to block it out )
~picked up dirty clothes from all around the house!

Just one load of washing left...I can't believe I'm actually on top for once!!!!

satinshoes · 10/01/2007 10:43

I hate our George Foreman. Avoid using it whenever possible as cleaning it is such a pain. The new ones apparently have removable plates which is much more sensible!

I've just done a hotspot in the dining room. yay!

cori · 10/01/2007 10:55

Well havent done much yet, ds is becoming very clingy and whenever i put him down he starts to whinge.
I have managed a 15 minute emergency fly of ds1 bedroom, and have made a list of paperwork i have been conviently putting off and have done half a tesc online shop. Not doing very well really.

bewilderbeast · 10/01/2007 10:55

Good morning ladies.

So far I've:

taken DP to work
td'd last nights washing
ds's poo covered things now washing

Still to do:

clean kitchen, living room, dining room (all one big room) 'cos health visitor is coming tomorrow and its disgusting.

continue packing

clear out spare room so packed boxes from living room can move in there

why oh why did i not get off my tubby backside and do more earlier in the week?

Urgh!

flossieteacake · 10/01/2007 11:07

Hello! I have been FLYING for months now, but don't tend to post on this thread since I don't recognise anyone from my starting days, except Capp - Hello Capp!

Anyway just wanted to say hi and let you know that I have a copy of FLYLADY's BOOK for sale if anyone's interested, posted a classified here . I have read it and now don't even refer to it since I know exactly what I'm supposed to be doing, so thought I'd make some shelf space! (Marla would be so proud - sniff!)

Other than that, house is looking pretty okay and I'm now off to do hoovering! (Fridge seems to be fuzz-free for the moment!)
