I'm babysitting this morning, so we'll see how I cope with two babies for a while. I need to hoover first.

HI everyone. THis is spooky as I was thinking of starting in here today. I have just moved 8 days before Christams and my dining room has become a dumping ground for the stuff which I have no idea where to put!

I have taken down the tree at least yesterday and must now arrange its disposal. I expect I will be hoovering up pine needles for quite some time though.

Thanks Jelley I did preview it, amd "kelly" came up so I foolishly guessed it had worked! Never mind...not sure what went wrong though cos as far as I'm concerned I did as instucted obviously not!

Oh well, must get on, but will be back later x

Here is my list from yesterday and a bit more added to it:-
~ post thank you notes
~ do some ironing (did some, need to do some more)
~ cancel magazine subscription
~ do about 3 loads of washing
~ walk the dog
~ maybe go shopping. If not e-mail a list to dh for him to do
~ book a haircut for me

Back from the school run....
I'm faced with one of those days when the list of jobs is so long I don't know where to start Feeling low about the state of the house.

~the tree comes down today so I can restore the living room to it's former state - kids want to help with that job though so can't do anything till after 3.30pm
~Floors need a mop and a hoover but not worth doing till tree is gone
~iron - put off from yesterday (pile is HUGE)
~put away ironing worst job
make beds
~do several loads of washing (towels and 2x clothes)
~get organised enough to make proper tea for kids not just pasta (again)
~friend wants to come for a cuppa - she may have to come and watch me ironing
~hoover upstairs - firstly need to pick up toys/clothes from bedroom floors
~unload dw - it's running at the moment
~dh wants me to run some errands which will involve an almost 30 mile round trip - he may have to wait

Make me get on with some jobs somebody, please!

did hall yesterday
girls room beds are made but it needs big clear out and new toys put in etc....
still have to unpack properly
hang washing to dry
get wash out of tumbledryer.

i really am rubbish at laundry.

d/d3 off to nursery for 3 hours soon
have to collect d/h from train want house all nice for him coming so need to start.

do you all keep journel or is it just a list of what needs to be done. this is it the list isn't it?

We all get a bit down tort...nothing to worry about...thats what we are here for..to help you get over it!!!

I don't write a journal...or have post it notes...I don't even have shoes on yet!
(I do shine my sink most days though)

I use this thread for keeping track of jobs..and I do the missions too...

Don't worry about all the FLY stuff..I find a lot of it a bit too much!

You sound like you are doing Fab anyway!

mistletoe I try and shine the sink, don't wear shoes in the house, and definitely don't do post it notes.

I've got a weekly routine on the fridge, and I do the meal plan/shopping list. We have all just taken what helps from Fly lady, and ignore the rest.

To do today:

• sink
• hob
• kitchen floor
• hoover
• washing
• mission
• clean out hamster
• find out how to do wiggly line!

• pick up prescription after 11am

• 15 minutes in utility room

Morning all

I had a bad night with DS2. He kept waking up from dreaming. Don't know why but he was having some really bad dreams last night. I have never known him to dream like he was last night He still wanted to go to school this morning though.

My List for today.
~ Empty the DW and reload with breakie bits Done
~ 1 Load of washing doing
~ 2 loads of Drying doing
~Ironing
~Put Clothes away (hate doing)
~S+S Bathroom + upstairs loo+sink
~Tidy
~Hoover
~Get bread and milk etc
~Post Office
~Get DSs from school
~Wash school clothes
~Clean School shoes
~Cook Dinner and tidy after its eaten
~Bath DC
~Wash Kitchen floor (once DC are in bed)
~MN tonight.

I better get on with this lot. I want to see loads on Done`s by the end of the day on my list.

I don't have a shiny sink at the moment ..it has a collection of things in it that wouldn't fit in the dishwasher...soon to be swopped into the dishwasher...when it finishes its drying cycle

I now have my shoes on too as I have to walk to the P.O very soon....

Oh Beets you are making me feel bad now will go off and do some more stuff! My sink isnt shiny there is drying up on the draining board.

Today:

Washing up done
Clothes Drying and putting away
Recycling done
Telephone book ordered done
Beef casserole done
Clean sheets on all beds
Washing of sheets
Re book pedicure
Bedroom mine
General tidy up

Emptied and reloaded the D/w
Put away
Made Ds's Bed
Vacced front room
Rolled up rug and put up another train layout
Done home admin

Still revisiting my housework I've lost my wedding ring and it must be somewhere in the house. I've checked the bins, vac bag, washer, dryer and even the inside of ds's dirty nappy (ewwwh) in case it slipped off with the wipe.

Fingers crossed that it will reappear. I'ts my anniversary on Monday

hi all, too many posts to catch up on at the mo.

But...CRISIS.

I have run out of dishwasher tablets

How am i meant to keep my sink shiny if i have to actually wash up in it????

I've looked at my list and have hardly done anything on it! Off to walk the dog now. Back later.

More washing on (had to go buy more powder)

All thats left to do is the hoovering...upstairs and down...and the stairs need doing too.

Bathroom mats and toilet mats (2 lots) and the kitchen rug are in the wash (kitchen rug didn't take long before it needed to go in did it!)
Tommorrow I think the bathroom and downstairs loo will need doing

Haven't done the side board hot spot yet either....

All bathrooms clean - they were disgusting!
