Morning Jelley, Happy New Year. Hope you had lovely Christmas & New Year. I haven't managed to read all threads since 22nd Dec. Will try I catch up over next few days.
Woke during night throat sore, snotty nose, whole body is aching.
So I will try & get all washing done.
Get DD washed & dressed
Me showered & dressed
supermarket
wipe bathroom
wipe kitchen.

Thankfully the entrance to our house is clear!

ludaloo · 02/01/2007 08:48

Morning Jelley...busy day for you!

Elliesmum...sorry you are feeling poorly...we have all had the bug here over christmas...its really not nice {{{HUGS}}} for you

I have no dining room as such...our living room is very long and the dining table is just at the end of the living room...but I will still tidy up anyway.

Have a good day all xx

EllieHsMum · 02/01/2007 08:53

Thanks Luda. Sorry to hear that you have all been under the weather. We too have a dining room table in our living room, which i will try & declutter today.

DimpledThighs · 02/01/2007 08:57

Morning - up early again jelley, good job as it looks like a busy one for you. I really like the idea of tiring the children out so they sleep well. Wil glean that tip from you with thanks.

Elliesmum - lots of vitaminC, not too much rushing about and take care. Horrid time of year for bugs and stuff - shame we don't have the luxury of phoning in sick!

Ludaloo - I am managed to bypass the mission by doing it yesterday (didn't read it properly) but still have lots of other things to do to keep me busy.

Me Today:

-WM
-DW
-swish and swipe bathroom and kitchen
-hoover downstairs
-tackle children's rooms
-take dcs shopping / swimming to wear them out a bit!

Have a good day all!

EllieHsMum · 02/01/2007 08:58

Dimple lol you made me smile thank you
Have a good day.x

Morning Jelley and EHM (welcome back!). I'm behind on the threads too but am hoping everyone's OK.

Well. suprise, suprise, I didn't do my utility room yesterday but DH has put up a row of coat hooks for me so I can hopefully get the coats off the bannister and into the utility room today....in order to do this though I really do need to clear the floor space and sort out the rest of the room so the kids can go in and out and easily find their coats and hats etc.
I did clean up the kids rooms though (and believe me, that is an achievement - should've done before and after pics to prove it!)...they now have nice tidy, orderly wardrobes and toys and both spent more time playing in their rooms as a result of my hard work so I'm pleased. Need to do mine and dh's wardrobes too soon.

Today we are meeting some friends for lunch but that's all we have on so I hope to make some progress with the utility room (I really mean it this time!)
Also have some washing to do and would like to change the beds.
Not much else - could run the hoover round but it's not urgent....
WILL DO THE UTILITY ROOM TODAY

School starts again on Thursday so tomorrow is the last day with the kids around - these holidays have flown by. Will have to think of something fun to do with them to make the most of it.

Off to get kids dressed. DH has gone to work already - I'll miss having him around, but will can't deny it's good to get back into some sort of routine.

shouldbedoingthehousework · 02/01/2007 08:59

hello luda and DT too! Took so long typing that message I missed the two of you arriving

EllieHsMum · 02/01/2007 08:59

Morning shouldbe.

Jelley · 02/01/2007 08:59

Ds got hold of a red felt tip pen this morning
I may be spending a whle scrubbing my dining chairs/baby!

I love the idea of phoning in sick....

The tiring them out thing doesn't always work, but it is worth a try.

shouldbedoingthehousework · 02/01/2007 09:00

Hi EHM - take it easy today and get well x

EllieHsMum · 02/01/2007 09:01

oops red pen. Better than red paint, apparently when I was a child i painted my self head to toe in red paint! Good Luck

Jelley · 02/01/2007 09:01

I love that you are still planning on doing your utility room, shouldbe. I think I will be a little bit sad when it is done and you don't mention it any more.

OP posts:
EllieHsMum · 02/01/2007 09:02

Thanks shouldbe.

shouldbedoingthehousework · 02/01/2007 09:04

well planning to do it and actually doing it are different matters, Jelley....don't hold your breath!

Hope the red pen comes off! Whenever we leave PIL in charge of the kids we come home to find they've let them loose with the felt tips (we have a stict on-the-table-only rule ususally!- a lovely cushion I've had for years still bears the scars of a session with a red marker!

shouldbedoingthehousework · 02/01/2007 09:09

Blimey, just read my last post lots of typos!...you all get what I meant don't you

shouldbedoingthehousework · 02/01/2007 09:15

Just oped curtains in dd's room and looked out on a HUGE beautiful rainbow Very pretty, feel all inspired now

shouldbedoingthehousework · 02/01/2007 09:16

(still can't type though - obviously that should read - 'opened' curtains )

Jelley · 02/01/2007 09:19

shouldbe - I read very quickly and only notice the typos when they are pointed out. But then I could always read Cods writing too.

Baby is now just a bit pink round the edges. We are off out.

shouldbedoingthehousework · 02/01/2007 09:21

I'm usually like that too Jelley - can usually easily put words together without reading properly. Have a good outing

melrose · 02/01/2007 09:38

satinshoes · 02/01/2007 09:58

dreamteamgirl · 02/01/2007 10:59

Satin I am ALWAYS amazed by you. I was a disaster zone when DS was so young.

Managed yesterdays jobs, excpet beating mats cos it never stopped raining long enough

Shoes and coats are clear from hallway, but need to get rid of
empty biscuit tin
full tin of chocolates (why??? I really dont know TBH)
3 weeks junk mail from hallway

Washing almost upto date and load went in before I left for work, dishwasher also runnign whilst here in office.

I so need a new hoover as upstairs carpets are in a very poor state indeed

Welcome Melrose that is the name of my new road!!

Morning everyone else, New Years Resolution is to post on here more often and lurk less

EllieHsMum · 02/01/2007 11:07
