Morning all,

Not a bad night's sleep for me. DH is knackered though as rather than make the most of the breaks I gave him yesterday he mucked about on the PC and didnt sleep

D/W, W/M and T/D all whirring away.

DD2 had another bath today and still loves it which I'm very happy about. She is sleeping at the mo and DD1 is watching peppa pig DVD.

I'm planning to take it easy and just keep on top of the laundry. Need to declutter our bedroom as there is baby stuff everywhere so will do the mission today

forgot to say, tort - cmomplain to tescos about the useby dates and you should get a refund. I have done that before when they've mucked up my order with use by dates.

Where is everyone today?
OMG! Its soooo cold! I have to make the gas last until i can top up tomorrow when benifits go in the bank!

School carol service later.
Done nothing so far apart from get DS's to school!

Satin you take it easy.Glad DD2 is enjoying her baths.

done:

  • made loads of frozen baby food
  • hoovered downstairs
  • cleaned up living room

need to:

  • do two loads of laundry
  • put laundry away
  • clean up kitchen
  • hoover and dust bedrooms
  • clean bathroom
  • make shopping list
  • do some planning for xmas dinner (DP is cooking it, but i need to be involved somehow! )

Morning ladies,

List for me:

Get coal -DONE
Get Electric tokens -DONE
Do washing -One load in
Dishwasher on -DONE
Tidy Bedrooms
Do bathroom
Hoover -HALF DONE
Dust -HALF DONE

Make friend coffee (she has an interview this afternoon) -NOT YET DONE!

Sorry I have been out and about so haven't been here for a while.
I've finally finished christmas shopping, Dh lent me his car and had the kids so I could go shop!

Mission is a good one for me...the whole upstairs needs doing!!!!

Back in a while...off to have a read through what I've missed

oooh Its quiet today! You all must be bust cleaning!

Well list all done....I only have a small amount of tidying left to do (in the kitchen)

I'm very chirpy today!!!

My friend got her job...its for Assistant at our village nursery...my ds will be chuffed to bits to find her there!!!!
And...... My other friend also got a job! At the Primary school as Assistant for the Breakfast Club and Dinner Lady!...my dd1 is very chuffed to find this out!!!
Good for me aswell as I know my little ones will be happy!!!
My dd2 especially as she is very attached to both of my friends...settling her in at nursery should be less traumatic when the time comes!!!!

I'm generally feeling very happy and festive! My brother sent a large box which arrived today and it has a pressie in it for me!!!!!!!!!! Knowing him it will be socks or something but non the less I'm very grateful

My car is going to be in the garage for ever more...it has a bit gone in the engine and it appears the head gasket ? has also gone.
I'm stranded here in this tiny village miles from shops! With only one bus route, car sharing with Dh when I get the chance....
But actually even that doesn't make me unhappy today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you are having a good day.
Ive been to DS's school carol service and now tea is cooking.

We all have loads of layers on as its sooo cold! Me and DD's have tights on under jeans.

I will be going in the loft later to get the last of the presents out and wrapped.I can't wait for xmas day.

Hi Tort....you are right it is bloomin feezing!!!! We have had frost on the ground all day!
I'm bringing the duvet down for the kids...when they have had tea.

I can't wait for christmas day either...I'm really pleased for you though...having your boys will be all the better...it'll be great for you. Lets just hope the weather perks up!!!!!!!!!

Its freezing fog here! It all looks so christmassy and white.I love it.But i hate being cold.It would help if i could afford the gas to keep the heating going.
DD1 thinks its only xmas when it snows! She could have a long wait!

Its awful being cold.. I tend to go to bed when the house is cold. Get the duvets down and snuggle on the sofa.

Hello.

It's quiet today, everyone must be busy getting ready for the weekend

The kids and I have been out all day seeing different friends. it's been fun but it's so cold out there! I'm glad to be home and not have to head out again tonight. I ought to deliver some local cards but they'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Good to hear from you Luda and to see you're in such high spirits despite the problems with the car. (lol at "bust cleaning"....I have an ample bust but it doesn't require a days cleaning!) The kids excitement for Christmas is really rubbing off on me this year and I've been fairly 'up' recently too

tort I'm so pleased about your Christmas; having been brought up to speed on your situation yesterday - you must be really looking forward to it How was the carol service? Bet it was sweet. I'm pleased tesco sorted the prob with the trifle - you'll be sick of it after having it for lunch and supper though!

Better go and serve up our supper (jacket potatoes), dh has to go out again in an hour

I'll do the mission while kids bath is running later - there's usually a permenant pile of kids books and bits and bobs around our bedroom which need to be put away...

HI Everybody

Just a quick post busy day.

Haircut which took nearly 2 hours today 930 until 11.20 DH wasn't very happy as he was working from home & had conference call which he couldn't take part in,oops.
DW on & Emptied
WM on & Emptied
Ironing done
kitchen & downstairs loo wiped including floors.
Floors mopped in livingroom & hall.
Off to get Ellie bathed & fed as we are going for an Indian tonight with friends at 8pm. Ellie is coming with us.(in just around the corner)

I'm not too cold yet! I get some money tomorrow.Just hoping the emergency credit lasts that long! It should do. I could do with a back up electric heater but electric is getting low too!

I will soon warm up with going in and out the loft,wrapping presents and picking up toys!

Will have some trifle in a minute too!!

I will have to buy another pudding for xmas now.

Looks like i'm talking to meself! But presents are out of the loft now.Nearly slipped on the ladder then banged my toe on the stair gate.
Now going to start wrapping!!

be careful going up and down to the loft tort! I wrapped all kids presents last night - just need to get them to help me wrap other presents for family over the next couple of days. Dd has a birthday party tomorrow, another on Friday and another on Saturday lunchtime so more presents to wrap for those!!
