CranberrySorry to hear DD unwell & up at 4am. My DD also up at 4am, snotty & hungry. So made her a nice warm bottle of milk give her a long cuddle & she went back to sleep after 5am. Slept until 730.
TortoiseI Hope that your pop-pop is ok. Big hugs. Hope you get that window fixed & presents wrapped.
Well my plan of attack is make list of everybody I bought presents for & ensure I haven't forgotton anybody. Have to post a few thank cards for xmas presents dd has already received. Money & gift cards from friend & family who we won't see over the festive period.
Dishwasher is on
Going to try & put wm on everyday this week so I completely up todate by weekend. This is when our travels start.
Small amount of iroing to do.from washing done saturday evening.
wipe & tidy kitchen.
wipe through bathroom & toilet downstairs.
Not sure if this counts I did complete declutter in Sept of old nickers, clothes etc. My hubbys wardrobe needs a good seeing too! But that would be cruel a week before xmas. I mean why does a man need about million shirts will different blue coloured stripes

satinshoes · 18/12/2006 09:36

welcome Scootergirl.

had a rough note with DD2 but got a 4 1/2 hour stretch of sleep until 8.30

Today need to change fish tank water and hoover. Bedroom could do with a tidy so I'll do the mission too but that will be it.

EllieHsMum · 18/12/2006 09:47

Morning Satinshoes.

Hope dd2 is ok. I am still very impressed 2 dds & still flying. You are a domestic godess

DimpledThighs · 18/12/2006 10:22

hi

Cranberry- sorry to here you have succumbed to the winter lurgy - hope it is short lived (and think you should post her your old knickers then there might be a warning saying 'please read carefully and keep your pants to yourself!').

Ellie - am going to copy your present list idea as am scared have forgotten vital person!

I don't really have a master bedroom as dh snores so badly and has slepp aponea so I go in with one of the children. This has been going on for a year now and the masterbedroom is now completely his domain (computer, books, newspapaers etc.) He is so untidy I only go in there to get my clothes, but will do the misson in terms of sorting out my clothes!

Today:

sort clothes in bedroom
whizz and wipe bathroom and kitchen
hang out washing put on another load
dishwasher load and empty
sort presents
fold mountain of clothes on ds bed (my least favourite job)
museum or cinema with stir crazy children!

EllieHsMum · 18/12/2006 10:29

Hey DT

Could luck with the list. That must be a nightmare with the snoring?

Hello all.

Sorry to hear of poorly ones.
DD2 has a cough yet again and had me up until 1am coughing then awake agan at 7!
Just Been to town for milk bread etc.

My main job for today is to sort the clean washing and put it all away!

No news about Pop-Pop! He is in London so still to far to visit him. Hopefully he is ok.

Right off to do lunch then make a start on clothes(after Neighbours of course!)

NotSoSilentMhamaiNight · 18/12/2006 14:06

Hi everyone, my sympathy to all the poorly lo's my ds 5 has been sent home today sick also. Ok I'm a complete fly virgin but today is as good a day to join as any, had been suffering with depression for ages and end result being no routine and a HUGE build up of crap and clutter.

I have a skip outside the door as we speak and my aim for today at least is to clear out my living room. I'm dreading it tbh as I'm a hoarder and know it's probably going to take hours to wade through the debris but hey ho, I'm putting the xmas tree up when I've finished, so something to look forward to. wish me luck.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 18/12/2006 14:10

Hi Mhamai
Sorry you have a poorly one too.
I could do with a skip!lol.
I hope you manage to get thje tree up today.
We are suppose to do little at a time so take it slowly to prevent burning yourself out!

Well, Neighbours has finished so i suppose i better go and put the washing away!!

CranberryJelley · 18/12/2006 14:13

Good Luck

Thanks Tortoise but seriously if I did little I'd be here till next mas eve! No I'm going in warrior styleee and then hopefully when the place is cleared properly, I have another skip coming in a few weeks for the rest I can hopefully with the help of you ladies establish a managable routine. Seriously I'm not making this up but my house is very much kim and aggie pre clean state right now.

CranberryJelley · 18/12/2006 14:17

Tortoise is right, but if you can do the skip thing first, then start on daily little jobs, it can work.
I sent my kids to my mums for 3 days and did a massive clear out before I started.

OP posts:
ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 18/12/2006 14:18

Your doing well jelley.Well done.
I'm on the phone to the H/A about the broken windows!

CranberryJelley · 18/12/2006 14:20

Don't let them weasel out of it. It must be a fault to have happened twice!

OP posts:
NotSoSilentMhamaiNight · 18/12/2006 14:21

Thanks for the support guys, will check in most likely knackered but happy.

Ps
Sorry if I'm being very nosy but what happened to your windows Tortoise?

EllieHsMum · 18/12/2006 14:22

Tort Glad to hear that pop pop is in uk> Now heres a suggestion. Iam 20 mins on train from London. If pop pop is in Hospital I am more than happy to jump on train & take him some mince pies/fruit basket & not sure this would help or you think its a bit forward/pushy? Did you get your window sorted? Good luck with your chores today.
Cranberry You are wizzing through your list.
Hi NotSoSilent Good luck with the skip & getting your tree up today. Sorry to hear your little one in unwell. I really find these threads motivate me. Hope they help you too.

I've emptied dishwasher & final load of washing in machine. DD & I have been out for a lovely walk. Its very crisp & cold, so we where only gone about 1 hour. To damp for her wee chest. She is presently napping.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 18/12/2006 14:25

Mhama I had the inner layer of small double glazing window break in my DD's bedroom about a month or two ago and i was told they don't cover the cost of repairing windows. Now the same has happened to the bathroom window.I can't afford to repair them myself.(Its housing association property BTW!)
I'm guessing its something to do with hot/cold air inside and out thats making them break.
Housing officer has been left a message and someone should ring me back today!

NotSoSilentMhamaiNight · 18/12/2006 14:27

Thanks EllieHsMum, gosh I didn't think you could be on MN nearly two years and still recieve warm welcomes anyhoo off to start now [groan emoticon] otherwise will just stay here yakkin! procrastination is second nature to me I'm afraid.
