Hello Satinshoes - how are you doing? I hope that you've not been doing too much!!

I've certainly been doing b*gger all Flying! We had the Christmas Fair last night which has taken up far too much time and energy. I feel utterly wrecked this morning, so today's mission is going to be easy!

But then I need to catch up on the rest of the week's missions that I haven't done.

Morning all.

Can I have a virtual mint aero please Ivor?

W/M on, D/W cleared, Kitchen cleared.

Last night I felt compelled to mop the floor (as per mission), clean the bin (yuk) and clean the hoover filter (double yuk).

Off to town in a bit with DH and DD. DH is still off letting me relax. He could never have done this if he wasnt working for himself now so i'm v. pleased.

Anyway, Good luck to those with SS appointments (HN i think).

And come on Ivor, lets see this list of domestic wonderment you couldnt post this morning

I'm fine thanks android. Still no sign of baby. Due date not until next wednesday so i cant complain. Just had in my head that as DD was early this one might be too! And the false start the other day was a disappointment

Awww what a fab mission!!!!!

I don't actually drink tea or coffee...but I will stop for a nice glass of coke and a choccie biscuit!

Satin....how are you this morning? Hope you are ok.

I have a busy day again today...bisciuts to make for ds christmas lunch, I have to wrap some pressies for dh that came in the post...he has no idea they are here, which is good because he is the biggest kid of all and will hunt them down! He pesters me too non stop!!!!

dd1 has her christmas play tonight, which I'm looking forward to!

well better go do a tidy round

Ludaloo-hello-saw you on the newbie thread too,hope you enjoy your dd's play tonight.
I think I'm just about able to carry out today's mission...ha ...I have a degree in sitting down with a cup of tea..usually lasts longer than 15 mins though.Am planning to fight crowds in town to pick up last few presents including 'novelty' socks for fil-he must be the only adult who actually requests novelty socks.

dd1 is very excited! I haven't actually seen her in her full costume yet so it should be good..thanks.

Good morning!

Everyone sounds OK so far today.

I have have dd at home with a cold- she's not too poorly really but is quite tearful and tired so we're starting the weekend a day early.

I've cleaned the kitchen and will mop the floors later. Dd is busy with the hama beads at the moment and I am hoping to make some cookies/cakes for the school fair later so I'll probably wait and hoover and mop after that.

Think I'll have that cup of tea now....

Mentioned on another thread that i should come over here. Have a sore back at the moment. It helps if i keep moving (not sitting at a computer screen all day)

I am off to clean the bathroom and will then treat myself to a coffee.

Thankyou for starting the FLY's, my house is a mess and it's really getting me down, I had a little scout around the flylady's web site yesterday, and I think she understands me! I did yesterdays mission and a couple of others, clean the fridge and hob, must de-clutter the worktops, I've got dd (4) at home feeling hot and poorly and ds (3) at home, didn't want to drag dd out to take him to nursery and the baby to entertain! Still it's easier than when dh is in, he's a filth wizard!!!! Satinshoes, take care and good luck, baby will come when he/she is good and ready!!! Isn't this last week the longest??!!!!

welcome winterpimms and mammyM. and welcome back asleep.

as i told JARM , just all go and do today's mission - link at bottom of page. And then go and shine your sink if you can face it.

The good thing about this thread is that at some point we all feel rubbish, tired, too busy etc and it helps having others motivate you into either getting off your ass to do something OR taking a rest when you need it (just as important).

We've just been into town and DD and DH are both struggling with the cough i gave them so DH is now off sick rather than loonking after me. Feel a bit guilty....

Well it worked! Have cleaned the bathroom and washed the floor. (Sure if i hadn't mentioned on here about doing it, i would still only be thinking about it.) So Thank You.

Will have my cuppa now and then clean the work tops...

Just to convince myself I'm actually doing something as opposed to spending all day on mumsnet.

I have emptied the w/m and put the stuff on airer, and picked up some of DDs toys. ABout to make lunch.

I can't do any proper cleaning... I must keep peering out the window for Parcelforce (or so DH is anyway... apparently it makes em come quicker...as does checkin the parcelforce tracking site every 10 mins "just in case it was delivered to the wrong house!" - i married this man )
