How do you stop the bin liner in your wheelie bin from falling in?

Is there something people do to prevent it falling in every time I throw something in. It seems to be OK as it gets fuller. MIL uses sticky tape but I wanted something quicker.

CurlySue I put the pegs on and when I went to throw something in the bin today the bag stayed in place! Woopee! I actually love you! Smile I want to steal all your other genius ideas!

Grin finally i am valued for my work! Wink

I'm afraid i dont think i have any more wisdom to impart. Blush what do you need tips on and i'll see what i can think of.

Tip: remember to take the pegs off and tie the bag before leaving the bin out for collection.

My Df would have loved this. Not for wheelie bin liners, but because whatever the problem, a clothes peg was very likely the solution Grin

I don't bother with bin liners either, just rinse out bins occasionally (into drain on drive), and use deodorising powder if necessary in summer and two pedal-bin liners after maggot experience.

My mum puts pegs round the rim to hold the wheelie bin bag in place .
