Morning everyone....

Hello to all the newbies Its not fair..I miss so much in the evenings!!!!!!

I'm not sure what to do today....kids want to make cakes so will do that at some point. And my newly changed rota now includes shining the sink!

Could always nag dh to let us put the decorations up....we were going to do it next weekend but a week won't make much difference will it!

Hope you are all ok...

Luda xx

How awful for you.((Hugs))
Ive just had my 1st year as a single mum! Tough at times but i love it now.
How exciting your 1st xmas in your new home will be.

Hi snowstorm
Its all fairly easy really.

You start with baby steps and gradually add bits in through 31 days till you have a little routine going.

In addition there is a different Zone of the house each week with a daily mission to sort out.
Its all about doing things in managable chucks, usually 15 mins at a time
HTH

Thanks ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus ... I'll be able to sleep at night's now I know

Snowstorm · 26/11/2006 22:25

Thank you too dreamteamgirl ... I'm glad I know what it is now. All sounds a bit tiring though - everyone on these threads sounds so full of energy and in control, it's exhausting just to read what you all get up to for non-FLY'ers you know

Hijack of thread over - thank you!

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 26/11/2006 22:29

Full of energy? Noooo! More like knackered and unable to cope with housework and need a group of virtua friends to kick us up the behind! Not a huge amount of tidying goes on really!

After all FLYlady says only 15 mins decluttering a day!

dreamteamgirl · 26/11/2006 23:15

Thanks again Tort

I have so much respect for single mums, I dont know how I would ever cope if it comes to that. Still hoping it wont, but who knows, an awful lot of issues to work through first.

Snow not a highjack at all, at least as far as I am concerned, it what these threads are here for.

And DEFINATELY not in control or full of energy LOL. I just find/ found I didnt do things cos I didnt know where to start and was tired and uninspired, but FLYLady tells you where to start and what to do, and cos it is all so manageable you actually DO it

satinshoes · 26/11/2006 23:38

dreamteamgirl - sounds rough. good vibes coming your way.

snowstorm - lol @ you thinking we all have lots of energy [grin}

Hello flers,
Doubt any of you are up.Not been around as i am dying off with what started as a cold.Rest of family seem to be shaking it off but i'm getting worse.Quite suprised as i never get ill for more than a day.I'm up now because i couldn't breathe in bed so thought i'd come and see what you are all up to instead.

Lol at your definition of flying tort very true.
I have been so lazy the last few days just doing the bare minimum.Have been sleeping in too Dp has got up every morning with the girls he doesn't do housework at all though .I should be glad he is good with the tots really it could be worse. As dtg said respect to all the single mums.

Plans for this week include major blitz of house making xmas decorations and am picking car up on wednesday so will probably take girls out somewhere just because we can. Will be off to chemist in morning see what i can take to make me better.Doctors last resort .Well see you all tomorrow.
