which dishwasher tablet do you use?

As above, please share with me your preferred all in one dishwasher tablet. I usually prefer Fairy green ones (platinum if on offer, regular if not) just getting a bit fed up of them never seeming to be on offer at the moment.

I'm not keen on the regular Finish powerball ones, they don't smell very fresh and seemed to fade my crockery a bit Confused I don't like lemon fragranced ones much either. Apart from that I'm open to suggestions? I've just bought co op value brand 30 for £1.75 as there were no branded ones on offer that I could see, and I'm getting fed up paying 20p per tablet!

Sainsburys Basics ones or ASDA Smartprice, or whatever those ones are in Home Bargains for £1.69 a pack.

Never had any problems with any of these brands. I have no idea what the difference is with the more expensive brand tablets = perhaps they cook the meal for you and put the pots away for you when they've finished washing? They'd have to at that price... Grin

Which ever ones on offer. Have Finish at the moment as they were £7.00 for 110 tablets, so got 2 boxes. Will probably not need any more this year.

Thanks everyone! I'm still checking in on here while I try some cheaper alternatives Smile

well the co op ones turned out to be ok for cleaning, but bit crap on the rinse - lots of stuff was left with water on, I never normally get that with the Fairy ones. Plus not very fresh either (despite me having recently run a dishwasher cleaner through it. No blockages and filters clean. They did improve when I used one and a half rather than just one tablet.

Have got some Tesco all in ones this week to try, they worked out at 10p per tablet and have been pretty good so far for the 2 washes I've used them in.

I don't like lemon scented (anything, not just dishwasher) and my water is very soft I think.

The tesco value ones are the only ones I buy now.

I tried them after a recommendation on here, though I was sceptical, but skint.

To my amazement, they are great.

We live in a really hard water area, I tried the Daisy powder that you get in Tesco (never seen it anywhere else) on recommendation from an MN budget thread, I have never seen my glassware shinier and everything is superclean. Also seems to last forever, I bought a box just after Christmas and it's still going strong!
