I'm sorry I have no idea how to do links....
Where is everyone this morning I'm missing you

OP posts:
QuootiePieBANGERSandMash · 03/11/2006 11:55

Oh my lord - is she OK??

Send her our love, won't you? Oh dear

zippy34 · 03/11/2006 11:59

Well, done nothing this morning although was up till all hours last night as a valuer was coming from the bank today to see if we've got enough equity to approve our loan...[fingers crossed emoticon].

Also had to get a plumber in as the toilet flush had broken, which is not fun when you're 4 days from your due date and at the loo every 5 feckin minutes so of course when the valuer arrived the cistern was in bits all over the floor, newspaper everywhere and why did I bother...

Now I have a working loo, no money and a nervous wait to see if the valuation comes back positive (although it should...) plus waiting, waiting, waiting for the contractions to start. I think it's cured my nesting!

Might go back to bed and tackle putting the bathroom back in order later.

thehazelnutthatdoesnotgoBANG · 03/11/2006 12:00

They have said she is ok. I have not spoke to her this am. It was the hospital that said she wants to come home.

I will be phoning her later and I will send on any wishes then.

zippy34 · 03/11/2006 12:00

Sorry to hear that HN's poorly. I hope she's home today and they get to the bottom of the problem

IvortheEngine · 03/11/2006 12:01

Hello HN's Mum. Please pass on my best wishes to HN. I hope she gets better and can come home soon.

pippah · 03/11/2006 12:04

Get well soon, HN

peegeeweegee · 03/11/2006 12:16

Get well soon HN, and hello to HN mum! (would that be a hazelnut tree, or do hazelnuts grow on bushes??, genuinly wondering... )

IvortheEngine · 03/11/2006 12:22

Tree I think peegeeweegee. Too tall to be bushes.

thehazelnutthatdoesnotgoBANG · 03/11/2006 12:25

I have wrote your names down and I will tell her later when I phone after lunch. I hope to go and get her then, if she can come home.

I have just had the gas people here to check the gas fixings and they are all ok. I wondered if it was the fire that made her ill as it gives me a headache. She now has a Carbon Monoxide alarm fitted.

I am going to take the children to the shops to get a few needed bits and to take there minds off mummy not being here.

This computer using is hard. all sorts of things keep popping up.

Hazel has told me how good mumsnet is and she wished she had known of it ages ago. Thank-you very much for giving her net friendship.

thehazelnutthatdoesnotgoBANG · 03/11/2006 12:33

Hello to you all too

I am not sure if they are trees or bushes. Trees I think.

I am not really HN`s real mum. I am her stepmum. so I guess I must be the tree from the otherside of the road. Sadly my tree did not have hazelnuts, but I see and feel for Hazelnut like she did come from my tree.

She said you were all fun to know.

I hope she can talk to you all later when she is home.

MamaApronstrings · 03/11/2006 12:46

morning -

good news - a friend of a friend is interseted in buying our house [hooray]

bad news - they are coming to see it next week and I now have to fly like crazy to try and make it look nice [boo]

I have decided the bigs will have to do jobs like washing skirting boards etc. as well as help look after the littles while dh and i are doing the rest

SUSIntoSpaceandback · 03/11/2006 12:49

hello HN steptree - please give her my best wishes too! i hope to see her online really soon!!!

ZIPPY fingers crossed for a positive valuation! and sending lots of contraction vibes

PIPPAH been there so can totally sympathise!! mine was crawling around too all the time while all the others were sitting like zombies - how on earth ...?!?!? - and i too was very (!) pregnant; so more than happy that sessions stopped by when i was 3 weeks away!! but he did like it

BUDABEAST i do agree! nothing wrong with having a cleaner! once my house is fairly 'clean' i might get one too (i know it sounds ridiculous but i can't have anyone clean THAT mess ) - snow?? what part are you???

PEEGEE i hope you and dh are ok again?! never nice to go through such a worrying time! why not take kids to the bonfire after all? if there are friends they can help

JARM i hope you get on top of everything soon!!!! at least you'll be out of the house so no mess can be made

not much flying here! my back is killing me (shouldn't really sit here i guess ) - taken dd to surgery to get her 13mth injection; ds was fab behaved - kids are having fish/chips for lunch -
ohhh i managed to do a meal planner for a whole week - so at least something!

will do the 3 appliances dance (d/w w/m t/d) that makes me feel like i have achieved something

Jelley · 03/11/2006 12:52

Quick visit. No flying.
HN (step) mum tell her Hi and get well soon from me, too (She'll know me as Jasnem)

Kitchen is good , the habits are really ingrained now...rest of the house is not so good, but I'm going out again now, so It'll have to ait til later.

IvortheEngine · 03/11/2006 12:53

HN's steptree - Hello again. I like your sense of humour and think that you might be addicted to MN like the rest of us before long!

asleep · 03/11/2006 13:06

poor HN! lots of hugs sent her way!

BudaBeast · 03/11/2006 13:10

Poor HN - hope she is OK soon.

SUSI - I am in Budapest!

Did my 20 mins in hall. Need to finish off. Back later!

tinshoes · 03/11/2006 13:12

Just read this. Hope Hazelnut is ok. Thank you HN's mum for telling us and send our love

I am sooooooo excited.

WARNING : Please dont read if you really love the environment but i just got a tumble dryer!!! I've never had one before and cant wait to try it. I'm sick of clothes all over the airers taking ages to dry and baby 2 on the way i figured it was a good time

IvortheEngine · 03/11/2006 13:22

It's not a problem having it tinshoes as long as you use it sensibly. It's the people who put things in the tumbler when it's fine and dry outside and the air is clear etc etc who get up the noses of the greenies!

tinshoes · 03/11/2006 13:27

In my defence I've put off having one for 10 years and I much prefer wind-dried clothes so promise to use sensibly

QuootiePieBANGERSandMash · 03/11/2006 13:36

I hate line dried - the clothes are always hard.
