Morning all. Nice easy mission today as I have no intention of moving the furniture and bring on labour

Did quite well in the end just getting through some basic jobs.

Out with DD this morning so will try and do a bit this afternoon.

i did a good hoover in the living room yesterday, but didn't move the sofas. will do that today then!

should be easy for me! Will hoover twice before DH gets home, so when he gets home I will get him to move stuff!

Thats about it then.... im sorted lol

Loads of washing to do (so shoot me) and loads of washing to fold and put away.

morning bat...happy halloween!
I like this mission..god only knows what lurks beneath the sofa!!
I still haven't done half the stuff I was going to do yesterday, so I'm glad the mission is quick!
Off in to town to get some last minute halloween bits...then its baking and making toffee apples!

God I'm like a child....any excuse to eat yummy things and act like a loony!!!

Morning everybody,

Right, after my disastrous day of yesterday I am ready to tackle this embarassing tip that is supposed to be my lounge.

Will tidy, dampdust and move the furniture (two sofas and a little side table) to vacuum behind. I refuse to move the tv/dvd unit (too heavy) but will poke the pole of the hoover behind it and see what I can suck up... (I shudder at the thought of what will be lurking there...)

Have a great day, am going to get dc dressed and walk ds to school, then will be back on here before getting stuck in (any excuse!!)

And I will definately be doing at least one load of laundry!!

ok all, I am showered, dressed, breakfasted, d/w loaded and on (forgot last night), w/m loaded and on, kitchen sparkly.

Oh, and harpic down all loos. Discovered thanks to toilet thread - not very eco but good stuff so plan to alternate with ecover i normally use.

off out in half hour so need to drag dd away from tv and get her dressed

Right, am back from school run, dd is playing in the garden with the dog, I have had my breakfast (never manage it before school run), washing machine is on, dishes are soaking in the sink (don't have a dishwasher) so I cannot think of any more excuses...

So, will set my timer for 15 minutes and will tidy up lounge.

Id promised myself i would get the hosue sorted today as its really slipped into a bit of chaos after a birthday, lots of visitors and a hangover for me

im not feeling too good today so plese give me some motivation to get it done

also can anyone update me how tortoise is getting on at court?

Phew, that was a bit longer than 15 minutes, but got into the swing of things...

I have emptied out the video/dvd cupboard, dusted and put everything back in, keeping back some videos ds and dd have outgrown so will take those to the charity shop. Then did the same with the bookshelves...

Then whilst waiting for the kettle to boil I took the bin out (bin day today here) and did the washing up.

Sooo, feeling pretty good. Will relax with my cuppa and then will dust the whole of the lounge, and pull furniture out and hoover thoroughly....

Hi all, aren't these laundry threads amusing!

Still not Flying much but I have the firemen coming this afternoon so need to tidy some space in the kids' rooms so they can put up smoke detectors. And really ought to invite neighbour round for coffee after preschool run but can't be arsed to tidy kitchen.

well done peegee..I'm on a bit of a roll too....

I've vaccumed everywhere..behind sofa and computer desk..dusted..emptied paper rack...de cluttered the window sill and watered the plants..more dusting needed but dd2 is sleeping and the noise of the polish being sprayed keeps rousing her!!!!

becca... sorry you aren't feeling well...just have a mad half hour then you can rest happy knowing you haven't got to do it again till you are better!

Tort...am thinking of you too.

My sink has oodles of dishes drying on it... Will do 15 mins in my lounge though.

thanks for the LOL's girls - im not fussy what they all say - i do what i do and i dont care! If it helps me feel better, thats what matters!

Washing is done and folded (1 load to go on tonight once girls are ready for bed and DH home from work) just need to put it all away, but think i may wait until DH home - there is so much of it!!

I cant help doing 2 loads a day - Becky has milk in her cot at 5am every morning and more often than not it ends up on her sheets rather than in her tummy so i am changing her cot sheets almost daily. I change Jessica's bed twice a week.

phew.... am pooped...

the lounge is now a begger mess than when I started, but I have leaned my wooden veluxes (3 of them in the bay window...) and cleaned the lounge windows inside and out...

Have made piles on the floor for recycling, other rooms, bin etc so will sort those out when back from walking dd to nursery. Then I will do my big hoovering...

Have decided to bring ds's pumpkin in from the patio and place it by the fireplace in the lounge for a more 'halloweeny feel'...

Aargh, that reminds me - need to clean the fireplace too....

Phew, at this rate I won't be done till midnight...

Weel didn't get anything done in living room yesterday!

I did soak the fruit for my Xmas cake and do 4 loads of washing, cooked a big Spag bol for dinner and freezer, cleared all the mess from the upstairs landing, changes our bed and tidied spare room (where DH is currently sleeping as DS is in with me!).

So far this morning I put one load of washing on and did school run, went for coffee with friends and then to hairdressers! Quick nip to supermarket and came home starving so have had a snack and a half hour on MN reading the washing thread! LOL.

Am off to spend 30 mins doing basics like DW, kitchen and beds.

I did a little tidying yesterday in the living room as MIL came out for coffee Detailed hovering , have fun!. FGS have bl%^dy fun. I don't see the fun, Am I missing something? .

morning! (just about) Will declutter the dining table which ive taken over, 15 mins declutter (from yesterday ), and go over with hoover...
