Anyone know how to get limescale off toilet bowl????????

ugh! it's encrusted! i've tried everything. Limelite doesn't work, someone mentioned flat Coke does the trick - bllx it does, so what else can i dooooooo????? it's embarassingly hideous.

any proven suggestions welcome!

First night tip one whole bottle of white vinegar down and leave overnight.

Second night, one whole litre of full fat coke overnight (ignore the stains).

Third night, another bottle of white vinegar. In the morning, you should be able to scrub away any remaining limescale easily (or chip gently with a blunt knife if it's very thick although it will have loosened nicely).

Works every time.

Buy a new toilet

employ a good cleaner

amazingly i managed to get mine clean after following the advice of draining the water by pumping the loo brush and then giving it a big scrub with said loo brush. didnt need any chemicals just elbow grease

am getting some harpic to maintain it as dont want to have to work hard again

am off to supermarket with list in hand this time to remember to get the harpic. guess it'll be that and lots of scrubbing later, yippee
