jasnDISMemBERED · 26/10/2006 09:55

Morning, not around much due to excess of kids wanting to use the computer.
They are upstairs doing 15 mins in their room before we go swimming

hello everyone....I am hoping to have a better day today!!!!!!!!!!!!
Big fridge freezer nightmare yesterday....
spent hours phoning round for a new one!...couldn't get anyone out to look at it til today...
Ran around finding places for all my food to go...
Dh comes home at about 7pm and says "oh sorry hun....I unplugged it last night to use the microwave" AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!

I had recently put the microwave on top of the fridge to make space for my George Forman grill, which meant that when you needed the microwave you had to unplug the KETTLE...NOT THE BLINKIN FRIDGE!!!!!
Anyway this is what he had done....I even phoned him twice to rant..and he didn't mention it.

I really couldn't be too cross cause I should have checked the plug...I just saw the kettle plug in one socket and another plug in the other socket and presumed it was the fridge!!

Good job I didn't actually buy a new one!!! or get the repair man all the way out here...I'd of felt such a prat when he realised it just wasn't plugged in!!!!!!!!!!
Have to spend this morning retreiving my food from various friends and neighbours!!!!!!!!!

QuootieSpookypie · 26/10/2006 10:29

poor you! men can be so dizzy

OP posts:
peegeeweegeeWITCH · 26/10/2006 10:41

quootie, sorry, I can be sooo dense....

Urgh, I remember those days..., not helped by the fact that dh always had the uncontrollable urge to go 'moooo' when I was pumping....

tortUREoisechamber · 26/10/2006 10:49

Morning.
I feel crap! Full of cold and just don't feel right! Haven't had breakfast which is very unusual for me.
Was planning to go to big town today on the train but won't be doing that now. Hope to goto the park later if i feel upto it! Looks like being a better day weather wise. I have washed my hair and washing on. DW on to because i didn't do it last night.
Have some washing to put away which i will do in a bit. Is so much easier to do a small pile at a time. How long will i keep that up for?

tortUREoisechamber · 26/10/2006 10:52

Had to lol @ fringe not plugged in. What a pain having to retreive(ie or ei?) all your food again!

bigfatbump · 26/10/2006 10:53

Morning
Went to bed last night feeling all zen like and pleased with getting all my chores and bedtime routine done. Then remembered I hadn't cleaned bedside table. But as I haven't got a dresser or a chest of drawers I will do it this evening.

Have left washing on timer in machine and house is sparkly thanks to cleaner yesterday , so I feel I am starting to get to grips. We are hoping to move into our new house before Xmas so a half decent routine by then would be fab.

Tonight I am going out so I need to dry washing and put away and tackle bedside cabinet, all before going out with school mums for dinner.

tortUREoisechamber · 26/10/2006 11:14

I just had an assistant for my solicitor ring up about transport for court next week.
There are no buses(I knew that!) and taxi is there very last resort because its around £50 one way!
Her idea?
Well there is a train at 6.30 in the morning which doesn't get to Taunton until 9.30 because it does a long route to get there! Yeah i'm really going to agree to take the dc to the CM at 6am and spent 3 hours on a bloody train when a taxi would take 1 hour! And i know its possibly 4 days worth of transport but thats tough! Grrrr Im fed up with this already!

QuootieSpookypie · 26/10/2006 11:26

oh Tort - could anyone you know give you a lift?

Ive - finally showered and cleaned bathroom

peewee - yep, breastpump, not some kinky sex toy. I dont like FLYLady that much!!

OP posts:
tortUREoisechamber · 26/10/2006 11:34

The only person really would be xp1 9boys dad) but I wouldn't be comfortable in the circumstances. I let him give me a lift home from previous court session but only because the train home wouldn't be for another 2 hours and i would be home at about 7pm to then pick DD's up. Didn't want to leave them that long!
Train normally takes around 30 mins the early one just happens to do a different route to get there.

QuootieSpookypie · 26/10/2006 11:37

oh. I have no idea then, sorry....

OP posts:
tortUREoisechamber · 26/10/2006 12:14

Just had a crappy phone call from SW. xp1 must of told her about the childrens carnival and me letting DS2 be part of it. She said as he is their primary carer at the moment i should of got his permision 1st. Oh and because DS1 didn't want to walk round with me i should of left DD1 to go round on her own with pre-school and i should of stayed with DS1. How am i suppose to know all this? DS1 was quite happy to stay with my freind. But oh no i was wrong to do it. Im so pissed off now. Why did xp1 have to bother saying anything!
Im having to try really hard not to smash my fist into a wall to release my anger!

peegeeweegeeWITCH · 26/10/2006 12:16

Quootie!!! I wasn't thinking sex toy!!!

I was thinking.... don't know what I was thinking.... medicine pump.....cleaning device.....???

am pmsl at you thinking along the lines of sex toy, as my mum would say 'a dirty mind is a joy forever'.....

right, must do dc some lunch and get on with some FLYing...

peegeeweegeeWITCH · 26/10/2006 12:18

Oh tort, don't know what to say really, but feel for you...

batinshoes · 26/10/2006 12:28
