My 'TO DO' list for today. What's yours?

ok so far I have got the kids up and dressed and 2 of them off to school, taken the sheets off my bed and put them in the wash, put the dishes in the sink with hot water on them (porridge for breakfast-needs a bit of a soak!) tidied up by the front door of all the shoes, coats, buggy etc, folded one lot of washing out of the tumbler and tidied up one bedroom (the smallest!!)

Still to do:
1.Wash, dry and put away the dishes
2.Dry and iron my bed linen
3.Take the linen off the kids bed and wash dry and iron it
4.Clean the bathroom
5.Clean the toilet room
6.Clean the kitchen worktops
7.Mop the kitchen, bathroom and toilet floors
8.Hoover upstairs
9.Polish upstairs
10.Hoover downstairs
11.Polish downstairs
12.Put other washing away
13.Hoover the stairs
14.SHOULD do a workout but daresay I won't have time!!

I need to get all this done before 2.30!

me too but done our bed yesterday,housework is workout!and ds is poorly and whingy and dd is off school sick so will proberly not get anything done.

4- clean barthrooms
5- dust and hoover bedrooms
6- change kids beds
7- mop bathroom floors
8- load dishwasher
9- put on several more loads of washing and hang them
10- clean windows

better get started!

Ok heres my list then if you won't stop and have a cup of tea.

Tidy kitchen,
Collect ds from Nursery,
Go to soft play on a MN meet up!
Collect Childmindee from school,
Take Mindee to his football match.

Not much time for any other jobs as you can see!!!

Ah, this SAHM life can be difficult sometimes !

rofl at getting a cleaner ds2 has jumped on my knee now and squeezing me too tight!! need to escape and get off MN!!!

My list is horrendously long but it isn't all for today, I've just written a list of all the things to do before we move house. Basically it involves sorting every drawer, cupboard, wardrobe, shelf etc in the entire house and (hopefully) several dump runs. So far in the last day and a bit I've done the dresser in the dinning room and all but one kitchen cupboard.

I have to :
Clean out the cupboard where the toaster goes because it went in upside down yesterday and spilt crumbs everywhere
Put lovely new white valance sheets on beds
Then :
Clean house from top to bottom because my mum has just phoned to say she is coming over to stay and will be arriving in the morning but

Got a rare day off work (a day's leave to wait in for dishwasher repair man).

I plan to finish making my lounge curtains and get them up, including tie-backs.

So far I've cleaned kitchen, done three loads of washing and cleaned all downstairs windows indoors, including telly screen.

I vowed not to switch computer on and indulge in MN at all..... oh dear

Why would you need to do a workout after all that? How many children do you have at home now? What is happening at 2.30? Is the Queen coming?

5 Continue yesterdays paint job in DD's bedroom
6 Pick DC up from school

8 Go to college
9 Do Lunches for tomorrow

well thats all gone out the window!! been on the phone to my sister for the past hour! haha. am now sat eating a fried agg sandwhich and a hot chocolate. yumyum! oh well. try again tomorrow! lol

Have also dusted an cleaned downstairs floor.

Right kitchen cupboards all clean and sorted done dd's art corner and cupboard under stairs. I have 3 boxes of stuff for the charity shop and 4 bags for the dump. 10 mins for a cup of tea then onwards. Luckily ds is now down for a nap for a good 2.5-3 hours and dd has a playdate until 6pm so loads of time. I am feeling very virtuous. .

Genuine question. How can anyone bear their day to be cleaning and washing etc? I have never understood it and I've been a mother for 22 years. I still don't understand it. Not criticising anyone's choices here but why does anyone want to do it?

Hurray.... finished my lounge curtains and they are up and looking gorgeous. Have also cleaned bathrooms/toilets and washed lounge floor.

Now I deserve a night of 'smug-bitch' telly,which is Kim & Aggi, harridan McKeith and brat camp or teen tamer. Mmmmmm... bottle of wine too

I don't want to do cleaning and washing.

But if I don't do it the house is dirty and there aren't any no clothes to wear. And I can't stand not having clean clothes.

My "to do" list started with packing bloody boxes at my MIL's old house - the ones she couldn't be arsed to pack when she moved three months ago. Tomorrow's "to do" list will start the same way. And so will Friday's. Saturday's starts with picking up the hired transit van to pack the boxes in, and Sunday's starts with driving the effing things to MIL's and dumping them there.

That's me sorted for the next few days then
