Go through some emails!

Morning all, another small bleed last night, so rather than a days list I'm just going to keep adding/striking out a rolling list then I can delegate Wink

My skirting boards are doing my head in but I've found a neighbours teen that will do pretty much anything for a fiver so I shall be pricing up jobs for the weekend lol! I'm thinking wiping/de-webbing the skylights and dusting the skirtings to save me bending and stretching.

Living Room

  • Tidy
  • Sweep/vacuum
  • Dust
  • Wipe over electricals
  • Clean glass
  • Wash small sofa covers
  • Clear off the dining table (still waiting for DH to take washing up)
  • Wipe round furniture legs
  • Clean marks off walls
  • Wipe sockets/switches
Purplehonesty · 12/11/2014 11:12

I need to

Clean kitchen worktops
Hoover kitchen and lounge
Clean out fire and reset
Dust the tv unit
Make tea
Fetch ds and collect a book I've bought
Have kids bathed and in pjs by 5.40 as we have a babysitter coming while we go to parents evening

I fear I might not do most of these....apart from collecting ds that is.

morning muddled

I just had a fraught 'school run' - three lots of money demanded by DS who just stands there in a trance when Im righ nect to him saying out your socks on etc he is 8 and has drove me nuts - we have got wet.

I have a sore throat and sneezing - so my decorating has ground to a halt. I am going to have a bath after my breakfast then DD and I are visiting friends from a baby group. DH said I should send her to nursery but it's only once in a while and these friends are so nice, I dont want things to drift.

My house is in a state - when it is like this I feel like an epic fail as a SAHP. Sorry bit down today Sad

Bimberley · 14/11/2014 09:31

Hope you're feeling better today Andsmile!

I'm so out of breath lately. Think this baby is pushing on my lungs or something! I've also put on 8 pounds in two weeks!
Not sure how I can do another ten weeks of this!

Today's list:
General tidy up.
Sweep
Collect DCs from school and nursery (after I have watched crap TV all day!)
Pick DH up and take him to second job :(
Dinner
Bath
Bedtime!

Nothing exciting here! Weather is awful today!

andsmile · 14/11/2014 09:33

thanks bimberly - I used to get a bit 'panty' with DD, and feel slightly dizzy. Weeks left will be in single figures soon then - exciting!

Hope you feel better andsmile. Sometimes you have to let things slide and remember that your a SAOP not a SAH cleaner especially if you don't feel great. The weather here is horrible but at least I've sorted the house as much as I can.

andsmile · 14/11/2014 17:18

Thanks muddled- I managed together us both bathed dressed and to friends. It was so lovely to see them I'm glad I made effort as thought about holing up. I've managed to lean kitchen and get a dishwasher and washing on. Fraid kids are eating snacks not ones I'd normally do but dairy let is so handy. It will be pizza later glad DH will be home early at 630 - yes that's early Hmm Hmm

Kids are being good they have a camp of footstools and duvets while I'm in bath.

Have a nice weekend all think I'll be starting fresh on Monday when hopefully over worst

Evening all Smile I was back with the consultant today and all's good with little one, so I'm back on it!!

My toddler has taken himself off to bed (I'm not arguing!) and my 6 year old has just picked up all of the little dudes strewn toys so I shall have a tidy round and sort some laundry I think.

How are you feeling andsmile?

Bimberley · 14/11/2014 19:00

However both DC have came home ill.
DS has a horrid cough and DD has a belly ache and headache :(
Cue lots of crying this evening!
Both are now in bed but not settled yet.

Hi bimberly

Ive rallied a bit - had a bit of a low yesterday felt wuite overwhelmed. So today Ive got on with decorating and have made good progress so far.

DH has a handwritten list:

bins/recylcing
laundry
paperwork piles
coats organised
lightbulb list

Me:

Walls second coat
High level edging
Low level edging
Skirting boards

Try to tidy in main bedroom a bit.

Bimberley · 22/11/2014 17:17

I regularly have days where I am overwhelmed by everything, so know exactly how you feel.
Glad today has been better for you :)

I dread weekends lately!
Seems all the DCs do is argue and fight! I have lost count the amount of times I have pulled them apart today. Bump is getting huge and tasks are getting harder!
Just wish DC would give me a five minute break to clear my head!

Phew! Vent over :)

andsmileitschristmas · 23/11/2014 09:17

bimberley yea I know what you mean about weekends, when I return hom on Monday from the school/nursery run I always get that ahhh feeling and have my coffee in peace.

There is nothing like a bit of house re-organising/tidying/cleaning/decorating powered by nesting! Take care fo your blooming bump now Smile

List:

Paint skirting boards
Iron uniforms
Packed lunches
Food shop - online or goto shop?
Batch cook some food

I really want to get organised for the week

Assemble bed
Assemble wardrobe

Bimberley · 23/11/2014 10:41

Morning!

I've done the tidying up on my list, but thought I would save the fridge for DH :)

Yes, nesting is in full swing at the moment!

Feel like a single crumb will push me over the edge! Poor DCs!

Still to do today:
Go to DMs
Read with DC
Bath DC
Bedtime
Get school things ready for morning.

Need to book GP appointment in the morning! I'm so breathless, I just want to get it checked out.
