It's rather quiet around here.

Oh! Did that yesterday and dusted the fancy coving and cleaned the windows and mirrors/pictures inside. This is just in the lounge yeah or is it supposed to be the whole house per mission?
Still haven't done Monday's toy-pick-up though and I might get DH to help me move the sofa and hoover behind it, put salt down the slugholes etc . Out for most of today so nothing will get done...

There's rather quiet, and there's completely deserted...where is everyone?

I'm going to get FLYing in my sitting room today. I've been very slack lately, and things are falling back into my old pattern. I went to bed and left the washing up i the sink last night

Morning all. I was all set for a busy day and I now have to go an errand for DH as he forgot stuff for work, really going to balls up my day.

Still trying to work out if I need to go and move money from back to back, which is a pain too as it is in town, pin not working arfghh.

That was bank to bank.

Morning all I did wonder about starting a new thread for today when I got in from work at midnight but was shattered so left it for you lot!!!

i cleaned the tray of the washing machine (where the powder goes) last night. it was very yucky.

today to do list:

• DS has his jabs in about an hour
• control journal needs more work
• drop off library books
• want to descale kettle
• buy birthday card for SIL
• make menu plan for next week
• make shopping list

not done any flying today - well i did make my bed and the kitchen is still clean!

had to sew the basket on ds dolls pushchair - i do hate sewing; maybe that's why it took forever

sat and played with dd while sorting out some more toys

taking her shopping and then we'll pick ds up from nursery

Hi everyone,

Bad nights sleep and we all slept in until 8.00. Sounds great until i had to be out with DD by 8.30 to go swimming. All very rushed. Then after swimming i lost my keys. (car + house). My pregnancy hormones kicked in and after traipsing around everywhere i'd been i burst into tears. Following a rational call to DH i re-checked my back and they'd slipped into a nappy sack

I'm now home but highly emotional and the thought of housework is too much.

Hope the quietness means you're all blitzing your houses

poor tinshoes, have a cuppa and a sit down.

We are a rather useless lot today as I have done nothing either!
Will finish my cuppa and then do some ironing

My friend who helps me out with some cleaning/babysitting is here this avo, I am surreptitiously shining the sink whenever she's not looking

So hurrah - my favourite kind of FLYing, I swan off to work and leave her with the ironing, yippee!

I really should get flying again...

Im not a flyer as such but have upped my standards from "what standards" to "my house is respectable!"

Today I have...

Emptied dishwasher
Loaded dishwasher
2 loads of washing
2 loads of drying
Folded and put away non-ironing clothes
Cleared clutter from the stairs that has been sat there nearly a week
Cleared livingroom of all rubbish
Tidied toys
Hoovered Lounge
Cleaned kitchen
tidied upstairs (bar my bedroom)
prepared dinner and is in oven

just need to sweep and clean kitchen floor and last lot of washing to be dried and then tackle my bedroom which will only involve making bed and putting some clothes away.

maybe then i can get a shower and get dressed!

Right - I'm taking charge - everyone pick an area and go for 15 minutes.

Set your timer - that is an order!

I've got this week to straighten a few things out, before taking on the fly thing properly next week.
For one thing I am minus a hoover, one is due in the mail like now, but no signs yet

kids have just had lunch, ive only had cereal today so may just go and make myself something to eat!!

Done. Kitchen much better. Baby screamin now though!!!

OK, DD put to bed. Back up 3 times when summoned , then had lunch, made cuppa - during which I wiped all kitchen tiles & cupboards, emptied and reloaded dishwasher and got washing out of machine.

Now off to drink said cuppa with some digestives. Hard work this cleaning lark

If I can summon the energy then I'll do some decluttering in the living room later.

P.S I know what we're having for dinner so no worries there.

In the spirit of FLYing... would I be insane to start making my DD a lunchbox? She is at pre-school in the mornings, and I have in my head that life would be a lot easier if I made her a lunchbox and she had that all ready to eat when she got in... am I just making work for myself though?

My bedroom done.

Potatoes peeled and chopped and in a pan of water ready for later.

Just need to sweep and clean kitchen floor
Empty tumble dryer
Empty stuff in washing machine and put intumble dryer
Sort and fold and put away contents of tumble dryer
Hoover upstairs (including stairs).... if i can be bothered
Have shower
Get dressed!

i think thats a fab idea flame - saves time when she gets home having to make her something! She can get in, eat and then sleep!!
