Need help removing gross yellow stains from DP's pillow cases

As the title says really. DP is incredibly sweaty in the night and I am f*cking sick of him ruining lovely white bed linen with his gross sweaty head and body. Everything ends up yellow on his side despite me washing it very regularly - I can't wash it every sodding day!!!

Any tips for stain removal much appreciated.

Not to worry anybody but night sweats and the vinegary smell could indicate type 2 diabetes. They should be checked by a GP. It's a very simple test.

There was a thread on here ages ago where somebody made the immortal remark "You need to wash at 60 to remove human grease. [somebody I know] who is a bedding manufacturer told me."

Human Grease. I have never forgotten it. It does work!

I wash the whole pillow (dunlopillow foam rubber) every couple of months. Keeps the smell down.

Triple pillow slip it to keep seepage through to rubber to a minimum.

wash all bedding on 60c at least.

Also got fed up as stain goes right through to pillows. He now sleeps with a towel over the pillow. Sounds unkind but it works. Also had stains on back of chairs so covered his chair with a throw. He doesn't mind as he knows it's a problem and it's a hard life out in that shed!

Plastic sheets!!??

I read somewhere that these yellow stains come because of a scalp fungal infection. Got recommended to try Ketaconazole shampoo or Nizoral shampoo from Boots. It takes a few uses but it works. The stains come back if they don't keep using it though. Don't need to use it every day, jus couple of times a week. Also gets rid of the 'vinegar' smell. urgh they're gross aren't they.

It could be due to sleep apnea. My husband diagnosed no yellow stain bedding or vinegar smell now.

Is he into bodybuilding? There are certain 'supplements' that make users sweat yellow...
