I'm moving in with my DP and I was wondering what one thing that you have makes the biggest difference to the quality of life you have at home? I think having iPod speakers/a radio in the kitchen would be a nice thing. Anyone else?

roomba and scooba. my floors are always spotlessly clean and it motivates me to keep the floors clear and tidy so we can put them on.

HenI5 · 24/06/2014 12:09

Possibly the dishwasher, assuming an automatic washing machine is more of a given.

Coughle · 24/06/2014 12:33

A command centre of some kind so you can always find keys, wallet, mail, receipts, etc...

erin99 · 24/06/2014 20:10

Woodburner.

Madamecastafiore · 24/06/2014 20:11

A cleaner.

NotAnotherPackedLunchBox · 24/06/2014 20:12

Woodburner.

wowfudge · 24/06/2014 20:13

Dishwasher. Closely followed by tumble dryer. Assuming you already have a washing machine.

gildedlily · 24/06/2014 20:16

Hard to think of just one but family planner, fresh flowers and a radio in the bathroom are all up there. Oh and some kind of miraculous kitchen extension so I could have a dishwasher is on the wish list.

hyperhops · 24/06/2014 20:17

fresh flowers. especially nicely scented ones like white stocks.Grin they make me smile Grin

imip · 24/06/2014 20:17

Clean floor. All toys, bags, clothes off the floor and cleaned and mopped.

GalensOyster · 24/06/2014 20:25

Roomba and scooba. No arguments. They keep the floors spotless and I don't have to make them coffee and listen to them moan.

hifi · 24/06/2014 20:35

dishwasher, tumble dryer, icemaker and water dispenser on the fridge.

WhoMovedMyVuvuzela · 24/06/2014 21:03

A decent, ridiculously comfortable, large enough, feels like it's just made for you bed.

Saltedcaramel2014 · 24/06/2014 21:04

New carpet. Won't be clean for long but all the tea stains will be ours

Saltedcaramel2014 · 24/06/2014 21:05

Actually, nope I'm switching! I'm with vuvuzela on the bed

PinkSquash · 24/06/2014 21:06

Dishwasher, nice comfy sofa, DAB radio, big fridge freezer. Oh and big shoe racks.

Lovage · 24/06/2014 21:07

Pot plants. Except when I forget to water them for ages and they die.

Lovage · 24/06/2014 21:08

I mean innocent 'pot' plants not interesting ones.

AgathaF · 24/06/2014 22:06

A properly comfortable bed.

Hamuketsu · 24/06/2014 23:19

I was reading this thread from the bottom up, so ended up going: "Pot plants - yup, definitely. Comfy sofa- aww, yeah. Vuvuzela on the bed?!! Confused " Grin

NecklessMumster · 24/06/2014 23:22

Me..it would all go to shit without me . Keep hold of your own music. Pictures .

mameulah · 24/06/2014 23:28

Tumble dryer, fitted carpets and radio.

mellicauli · 24/06/2014 23:42

Vuvuzela on the bed..ooh.. nice idea....trumpet requests down for tea..wine..ice cream ..whatever takes your fancy....now that's what I call a command centre!

charlieandlola · 24/06/2014 23:45

Tumble dryer and my cleaner, followed closely by my bed and pillows, and a decent, powerful shower with a wide two person shower cubicle.

ghostisonthecanvas · 24/06/2014 23:46

Memory foam mattress, DH and kids.
