already been today and got myself a nice multi-skirt hanger thingy. Expressed an interest in the shoe cleaner thingy, but dh was having none of it (he thinks my interest in such things is freaky )

glad it's not just me malory. DH is also shoe cleaner at our gaff - but shoe cleaning machine would still be fabulous. You can tell a lot about a person from their shoes - in my case slovenly house slut.

pmsl - I will tell my mother that next time I see her (she is even more anal than she used to be - is that possible???!). I am a huge disappointment to her when it comes to housekeeping skills.
