oh PMSL at the DH shirt ironing

I remember mine ironing underpants, socks and hankerchiefs and being totally bemused by the whole thing. I would ask 'why Mummy, why' and she would reply - I like him to look smart

I'd have wanted to know who was looking at his underpants at the office

clean shoes are good, but if I ever see a man whith really shiny ones I think, "sad git"

A word in Tchibo's defence - when they first opened I didn't go in cos I thought it was shite (to quote you, puff!) and to be honest a lot of it is not necessarily crap, but just stuff you don't need. However, I have got some really good stuff in the past:

Grobag style sleeping bags - under a tenner
Bibs - towelling with velcro fastening - and big enough!!
Hooded towels - bigger than the usual ones
Vests - really soft
Waffle maker - £15 rather than the £30 or so I'd seen them elsewhere

but some is just odd - and some of the pics in the catalogue are VERY odd - there was a garden one in the summer with a strange old man in a cravat posing - the sort you wouldn't leave your kids with!! (Hope that it's no-one's granddad or I'm in trouble.....)

You lot polish shoes? In my world there's no point, they're either grown out of or knackered six months later.
