Do you have 'childrens' towels in your house?

DS uses just normal towels but I'm quite taken by 'childrens' towels e.g. Mickey Mouse etc. DH will probably think I'm just wasting money.

Do you have special towels for your children or do they just use the same as you?

No. Generally DS gets to use the bigger towels though - so the large white bath sheets are rarely used by adults.

Yes - we have colour coded ones. The DC have the family bathroom and have their own colours (although they are 17 and 14); DH and I have our own colours; as does the guest room. My lot will not share towels, they go "ugh disgusting" "it's been round dd's fanny or ds's bum and feet", "I'm not using that". DH won't use mine either. Funny that he likes sleeping with me though Grin

YES they do. It took a LONG time and I am SO glad they do now. This year both children got a disney beach towel for a gift and they are lovely towels - really good quality. I feel it is worth mentioning that I am not really into the whole disney thing, but these towels have saved me asking "whose towel is this" EVERYDAY at bathtime when there is nothing distinguishable about the towels! hooray!

And it is very worth mentioning that the disney store online have an exellent deal on their towels - now only £5!!!! I think you should go for it!

We have children's towels.

They are the crap, frayed, faded ones that my mum gave me as they used to be her guest towels. And any random crappy towels I have found in various places.

I have one lovely soft new one for myself Grin

MrsZ - I get the guest towels once they get crap Grin

White Company with hoods

My DS has two giant hooded ones which I made him when he grew out of the baby hooded towels - one is a dinosaur one, the other a superman one, both are very bright.

Itsallabout · 22/09/2012 12:35

Yes we all have different towels. At the moment mine are a soft grey colour, Dh are beige and Dd are cerise pink. Always done it this way not sure why. (maybe because I have a towel and bed linen obsession)

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 22/09/2012 12:41

I bought two baby hooded towels for dd when she was born, but only used then for around two months. Now she uses generic bath towels. However I usually use the cream ones and keep the navy ones for me and dh as the cream are small so ideal for a baby.
