After a weekend of doing nothing due to SPD, my house looks like a bomb has gone orf.

I have 6 washing baskets full that I need to make a significant dent in today.

At some point I need to drop of DP's dry cleaning and and do the dishes.
I possibly should have started by now.

Anyone else need a friendly kick up the bum today? :)

I need to pay the balance off on my holiday today (ouch)

Change the bedding which should have been done at the weekend. I really hate it.

Clean the kitchen

Go and buy food for tomorrow lunch with my dad and sister.

I'm still in my jammies and mucking about on here.

Allice · 06/08/2012 09:16

I really must not kill my children, the temptation is great though!

I need to go food shopping with the horrors.

I really really must wash all of the downstairs floors
I really really really must clean the (leather) sofa as it looks like the kids have been licking the arms!

Good luck everyone

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 06/08/2012 09:17

I really need to do the washing too, my children are running our of pants Blush

Pay the credit card bill for the month or I'll get charged interest from tomo

And get some work done

I am currently still in bed as I had a horrific nights sleep!!

pookamoo · 06/08/2012 09:19

Hoover
Laundry

GinFilth · 06/08/2012 09:26

I need to take the toys that were put into the garage 2 months ago to the charity shop. The kids haven't noticed they've gone, so off they go.

Also need to book a dentist appointment for DS.

And find out how to remove a turmeric stain from white plastic - I'll start a thread about that.

StripyShoes · 06/08/2012 09:30

Wash three loads
Fold and iron
Put away clothes
Tidy up the fecking lego
Post off four orders
Get work stuff ready for tonight

Gah!

WrestlesBadgers · 06/08/2012 09:30

Clean the lounge room. Looks like a warzone.
I'd do laundry but it's bloody raining and I don't have a dryer.
Stuff it, DD can wear disposables until the weather's better.

NoComet · 06/08/2012 09:43

Tackle the washing mountain!
I keep waiting for a dry day and they never come.

Shove a load of stupid shaped boxes, bowls and pans through the dishwasher.

Go and buy DD2 some school uniform and buy some foodHmm

Given Beth's final and the show jumping I'm not sure this will happen.

NoComet · 06/08/2012 09:43

Put washing away, Yawn

CherryBlossom27 · 06/08/2012 09:53

Today I want to:

Tidy the living room
Dust and wipe down surfaces I the living room
Bring washing in from the line and hang the next lot out

I will also need to feed DS lunch and clean up the floor and high hair. DH is cooking tonight, so I will have washing up and sterilising bottles to do this evening.

Not as bad I thought after seeing it typed down!

ladywithnomanors · 06/08/2012 09:54

Today i have to -
Do lots of washing. The washing is easy it's the getting it dry that's a pain!
Visit friend for coffee.
Pay council tax!
Tidy girls room.

JennyPiccolo · 06/08/2012 09:55

Titsalina you should just take it all to a laundrette and get the lot done in a few hours.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 06/08/2012 10:00

I would if we had one that did service washes, but we don't

My washing machine washes in 20 minutes, it's the dryer that takes 2hrs to dry 1 load, we haven't got outside drying facility.

I've just moved into a new house and have so much to do. I've sorted out council tax and parking permit, which is a good start, but still need to:

  • Ring NPower and Northumbrian Water to set up bills.
  • Wait for plumber to sort water problem in kitchen
  • Take my SODDING boxes upstairs and unpack.
  • About 4 loads of Laundry.
  • Sort out bag of unwanted books to give to freecycler who's coming this
evening.
  • Work out why bloody freeview box won't pick up any channels. (Can anyone help with that? I've got the aerial plugged into back of telly and a scart lead connecting the telly and freeview box...is this right?)
BertieBotts · 06/08/2012 10:19

Lots of washing
Some washing up
General tidying of visible areas
Finish changing bed sheets Blush
Ring tax credits
Order food shopping
Try to sort childcare for going away
Text boss about days I can't work
Feed neighbour's cat & put her rubbish out
Put our rubbish out

Fermez - plug aerial into freeview box!

stephlib · 06/08/2012 10:22

So far i have:

  • Tidy kitchen, wipe down surfaces, mop floor
  • hoover all floors
  • clean downstairs loo, sink, mop floor
  • clean main bathroom loo, sink, bath, floor
  • a general tidy up

Need to do all that and entertain and feed a 5 year old boy. Right i best get on lol.

FermezLaBouche · 06/08/2012 10:28

Thanks Bertie - tired that too and it just won't pick up channels. Dammmmmmn!

minx67 · 06/08/2012 10:44

pumpkinsweetie · 06/08/2012 10:50

Today i need to get of my arse

Hoover the living room, hallway and the entire upstairs (yawn)!
Finish washing up
Finish laundry
Wash my throws
Put washing away
Ice a birthday cake for a friend
Polish the entire house
Tidy my garden
Throw some rubbish away
Clean both lavatories
Pick up yet more toys in kids rooms
Get kids ready to go to a friends
Cook dinner
Wash up again (bore)
...,..... This list seems to be getting rather large !

minx67 · 06/08/2012 11:35

ok, cleaned hob, fed chickens, done dishwasher, cleaned half of bathroom......coffee and then to post office...

Emandlu · 06/08/2012 11:38

I need to get the house ready for a house viewing (sob)

This is not helped by the fact that we got back from a camping holiday in the middle of last week and the tent and other gubbins has not yet been put away by DH in the shed. I would do it, but the shed is ancient and liable to fall on me if I attempt to open the door

I keep galvanising the kids into 15 minute bursts.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 06/08/2012 11:45

3 loads of washing done. I cannot fathom how we ended up with so many clothes for 4 people. I think it will be a massive case of sorting and downsizing the clothes when everything is washed.
Front room hoovered (by the Roomba)
