After a weekend of doing nothing due to SPD, my house looks like a bomb has gone orf.

I have 6 washing baskets full that I need to make a significant dent in today.

At some point I need to drop of DP's dry cleaning and and do the dishes.
I possibly should have started by now.

Anyone else need a friendly kick up the bum today? :)

Brian the Roomba is a robotic hoover, I press his button he goes around hoovering then docks himself afterwards, best household thing I ever brought. :)

I need to

sort out the laundry - have one load on the line and another in the machine
unload and reload the dishwasher
whizz round with a duster and the long handled tickler
clean out the fish tank
sort out cooking dinner
ring my mum to see what time she is arriving on friday
order a food shop to be delivered to fit in with above

Ok lunchtime and a break from the housework for me. Its going fairly well. So fair i have:

• done the washing up
• wiped down the kitchen surfaces
• bleached the kitchen sink
• tidied the kitchen up generally
• mopped the kitchen floor
• cleaned and bleached the downstairs loo
• cleaned basin in downstairs loo
• mopped floor in downstairs loo
• taken the washing out of the machine and put onto the line outside
• tidied downstairs generally
• made lunch for me and my boy

I have also just this minute given the loo in the main bathroom a squirt round with domestos and sprayed down the bath and basin with bathroom cleaner ready for me to go and blitz the main bathroom after i get off here. I also need to get on with hoovering downstairs and upstairs and make a start on cooking tea for tonight. Happy joy joy....

Finish changing bed sheets
Ring tax credits
Order food shopping
Try to sort childcare for going away
Text boss about days I can't work done
Feed neighbour's cat & put her rubbish out
Put our rubbish out

Have also:
Been to shop to buy milk, bread, ham and sweets
Made DS lunch
Started a 7-day-late period, ouch (this is my excuse now!)

When I get home from work (and before DD gets back from her Grandparents) I have to

Hoover upstairs
Clean the bathroom
Tidy the lounge
Hoover the lounge
Put some washing away/ some more on

Would really love to be able to go home and watch TV/ sleep instead!

Oh and then make the dinner!

OK. I have paid for the holiday. The rest of my previous post still stands though

I really need a big arse kick now...

Right, I have tidied round a bit in the living room and sorted out my bedroom.
The kids have tidied their bedrooms - I have discovered they like cleaning if I buy throw away wipes. The wipes are now the most recent must have item for our house

Time for a then, next job - the bathroom.

Did you feel that Pascha? just kicked your arse big time !!

Now to get off here and carry on getting on !!!

I need to clear what I can of ds's bedroom so we can build some much needed storage (got a 6 drawer Hemnes chest from IKEA - almost flattened me getting it home).

Oh and put on some washing and sort out other washing.

Tidy up (again)

Find somewhere to get rid of a desk which we no longer have space for.

Loads more but can only do so much!

I've emptied 3 of the washing baskets and done a few little jobs, wiping down sides and bagging up rubbish for the tip, but omg a friend stopped by unexpectedly, never does this person ever seem me when I'm not looking pristine and they have never seen my house anything other than spotless today I'm in a much to short, summer dress, hair wild and no makeup over the spots, bump protruding proudly. The house was/is a tip!

I have been super good today!

I am child free today and forgot to turn off my alarm so I was up at 7.15am!!

I have done ALL the washing, taken it to the launderette to dry, folded it and put it all away.

Changed the beds.

Blitzed boys' room whilst they are away.

Cleaned bathroom and kitchen.

Hoovered the WHOLE house and Vanished the carpet.

Sorted the shoe box.

Taken clothes to clothes bank and bottles to bottle bank.

Picked up dry cleaning.

Booked Shellac nails and eyebrow wax for tomorrow.

Watched loads of TV between jobs.

Will be going to Waitrose once they start the reductions at 5.30pm!

House smells lovely.

I have bribed DD1 with m&ms to clear away all the toys from the living room (that worked very well!).
Hung out a wash load, which has been rained on twice now so for that reason the rest is waiting its turn.
Cleaned the kitchen, then lunch happened!
Now need to re-clean the kitchen and make tea

I do actually like this making lists and being accountable idea...

Ok, since last post I have cleared quite a bit of the room, still a mess but mainly clothes to go in chest of drawers. After five days faffing around with freecycle, asked next door neighbours if they know anyone who needs a desk, and they do!! Hopefully going tonight.

Washing is on although only just so I could say I had done something else!

Cake is in oven with the starts of supper.

I need to clear access route so can actually move the desk and still haven't done much tidying.

Well I managed to clean the bathroom, do some of the hoovering and put a wash on. That will have to do for now as I have to make the dinner!

So, I have deep cleaned 3 bedrooms and the bathroom, and done the ironing today.

Doesn't sound like a lot compared to you guys, but it's taken ages!

Also, I have now looked up the Roomba and I really want one!!

I really need to get back to vacuuming after this here cup of tea and I really must get to the carpet shop and sort out fitting.

There're other things on my to do list, but they are not urgent.

That was nice. Dh just got in, went upstairs, then came down to thank me for all my hard work today

Makes all the effort worthwhile!

Today I really do have to:

clean mould off the bath mat (yuck)
sew up a hole in my leggings that's been there for weeks
do another lot of washing

Going to get started on the bath mat now, while the boy is sleeping...

I need to finish my enornous ironing pile! I have been doing it on and off for 2 weeks now but never finish! Wish I had taken DH up on his offer to pay someone to do it.

Today I will finish it!

Can i join you please? I need a good boot up the bum. In my defense i have lost 1 child and gained 4 in her place (ds friends). Hard to do anything with 5 dcs and baby dd!

Today i must make up the spare bed in dd1s room for dm and as a bonus clear a pathway so she can get into bed tonight.
