I'm after advice for the best sort of storage bag to store duvets when out of season? I have a child with a dust allergy and will probably have to wash duvets prior to use following their storage, but would like to minimise dust exposure- was thinking of the vacuum storage bags but not sure if they're large enough for double or king size duvets.... All ideas welcome please! (I've previously double bagged them in bin bags, but apart for the issue of the uncompressed size (and have no access to loft so end up piled everywhere) they also still get ripped easily.

If you have landed here looking for recommendations, this thread is a bit old now, so some of these suggestions may be out of date.
We have recently updated our guide to the best vacuum storage bags including the best bags for storing duvets, pillows and bedding. All tried, tested and recommended by Mumsnet users.
We hope you find it useful.
