'His and hers duvet' - got one? like it?

I would really like one of those duvets you can buy that are different tog ratings on each side, for when you are a couple where one of you gets hot in bed and the other is always freezing. But I wonder how good this is in practice - does the heavier tog side weigh more? does it slide that way? And is it thicker on one side making the bed look odd when it made? (not that our bed gets properly made each day! Grin )
I'd love to know if you've got one and whether you like it?

No problems with cuddling just share one duvet and then back to one each when we want to go to sleep Grin

when snugging up TV watcing we overlap them - they get overlapped to make the bed too.

:o :o @ Cargirl who was obviously desperate to make her point!

Two separate duvets definitely. I can't imagine any circumstances that I would want to share a duvet with DH.

ThighsWideShut · 12/10/2010 14:14

Blimey.

diddl · 12/10/2010 14:16

We also have a duvet each-easy to wash & dry as well when it´s only a single.

We have a kingsize bed so not that much overlap tbh.

DinARGGHHHrod · 12/10/2010 14:47

Am enjoying all of Cargirl's posts today.

It makes mollescum and duvets look really a hot point of MN contention.

ZENZIZENZIZENZIC · 12/10/2010 15:49

I was wondering how there could be 140 odd posts on duvets Grin

MmeBodyInTheBasement · 12/10/2010 15:52

Aw, I thought this was a massive bunfight.(although an unlikely topic)

Thought that I could have a cup of tea and a good laugh.

Poor Cargirl.

MumInBeds · 12/10/2010 15:54

We have separate duvets too although I have a double and dh has a single, I get cold and like to wrap myself up in the duvet and dh runs hot and sticks both legs out. My duvet is used for cuddling up.

Guacamole · 12/10/2010 16:02

I was just wondering how a Good Housekeeping thread could be so big... Blimey! What's going on with Cargirl?
