If you wanted to buy some really high quality 100% cotton luxury bedding (duvet set) with really great designs, where would you look?

Want to treat myself and don’t want to use anything like Amazon etc.

I really like Toast bedding. I think they may be made in India. The quality is excellent.

Also look at Holsper. I ordered the purple flowers one and it’s even nicer in real life.

Cheaper than a plane ticket to India but still absolutely the real deal : https://www.fabindia.com/home/bedcovers. I'm Indian, living in the UK, and do still occasionally order from Fabindia despite regular trips to India. Their stuff washes well too (though you'd want to wash it separately the first time since the natural dyes run), is soft, and 100% cotton.

The designs are gorgeous but the thread count is really low, 200. They don't feel great.

Joe Brown has bold designs and they feel really good, also often very cheap on ebay.

highly recommend designers guild bedding (and towels) it’s bold colourful and stays new - mine is about 200 tc but the quality is amazing and they have higher thread count options as well.

I like M & S or John Lewis.

Best you can afford from John Lewis. Huge fan of white and a scalloped edge. Then an expensive blanket that suits you.

Some amazing links here so thank you to everyone who has made suggestions. I think I’ve decided that high quality 100% cotton with a high thread count trumps a funky design, so I’m going with a single colour and then I’ll funk it up with Indian accessories (throw & cushions) instead.
