Having a green kitchen( reed)with white quartz with grey vein and oak floor, can’t find a suitable wall colour. Any recommendations?

Yellow. We have a Country Living Whitstable kitchen in seagreen and the walls are Dulux Light and Space Lemon Spirit. With the original terracotta floor tiles.

We have sage green units, oak worktop and pale pink walls.

Thars what my sister has in her kitchen and it looks absolutely gorgeous!

Egyptian cotton by Dulux- love it. Our kitchen is dark green, brass handles and white quartz with the grey smoky faint lines in. Oak engineered wood floor.

Sage green units, white quartz tops and slate floor.

We have F&B skimming stone and it's more creamy beige than grey which I prefer. No yellow tones though which I didn't want at all

I believe dulux Egyptian cotton is very similar

RMenergy · 13/02/2025 09:27

@Ma11ard ours is Dulux “Rocksalt” -a very pale grey/white

I’m having a green kitchen installed as I type, it’s sage green I’m going for an oak work top and white walls, no tiles.

shiverm · 13/02/2025 09:30

Green kitchen here! A soft taupe green. Also white marble surfaces. We have white tiles up to eye height then (after using watercolour paints to work out what colours we liked) settled on a yellowy pink. A friend saw my kitchen and stole the colour so it's not just me that loves it!

F&B Setting Plaster is lovely with green, and nice and warm.

Does the grey make it seem cold or does the green and oak lift it and give enough warmth?

It feels warm to me. The oak definitely lifts it but we have a large window and some glass doors on cupboards etc which helps, although there isn't a huge amount of plain wall. We have a green marble splashback and the work tops and island top/waterfall edges are white with grey/brown veining so everything comes together.

Sage green units.
Walnut effect worktop, upstand & flooring.
White tiles between upstands & bottom of wall units.

Brilliant white walls - although there isn't much exposed wall.

Kaleidoscope101 · 13/02/2025 18:21

Dulux Tranquil Dawn.
I love it

Brumchum · 13/02/2025 18:28

Slipper satin farrow and ball colour matched.

piscofrisco · 13/02/2025 18:29

Setting plaster Farrow and Ball, or similar

piscofrisco · 13/02/2025 18:31

Also look at coat paints. They send sticky samples for a tenner. They do white packs for north and south facing walls, and various colours-8 for a tenner or thereabouts and the paint in the best I've ever used

3smallpups · 13/02/2025 18:39

Other way round but we have pale pink units and pale green walls and it's a nice combo

stanleypops66 · 13/02/2025 18:58

We've just had our kitchen resprayed
in F&B Beverley (quite dark) and love it. The worktops are white with a speckle of grey and the floor is large grey tiles. Walls are white.

Ma11ard · 13/02/2025 20:03

So tried out half of the large number of tester pots I’ve now amassed and Dulux heritage Romney Wool is looking really good so far.

Actually F&B Skimming Stone is looking really lovely. Bit warmer. Does anybody know if the Dulux centres mix the Dulux diamond Matt to the exact same colours as the F&B. Get consistency will differ but will the colour be exactly the same?

I don't think you can beat plain white with green. Eg All White, with no blue in it. Probably less ideal for a shadier room.

Sounds very similar to what I am after where did you get your kitchen from, what colour paint did you choose in the end, have you any photos and are you pleased with it? Thanks

jamaisjedors · 12/07/2025 12:31

We have F &B Pointing which is an off-white, slightly yellow undertone.

blackberrycob · 12/07/2025 12:42

Our kitchen is farrow and ball mizzle ( light sage green) units, white quartz worktops , pale grey tiles and I went with white walls and ceiling. I love it as I wanted to keep it very clean and uncluttered so the white suits this aesthetic for me.

Inlimboin50s · 12/07/2025 13:09

Olive green kitchen, white quartz with Oxford stone ( f&b) walls. I've got pale ceramic tiles with brown veins so all ties in.
Oxford stone would work well with your floor.

Alltheburpees · 12/07/2025 13:47

I have sage green units with pale ash worktops.
Walls are a warm creamy colour in the kitchen end and a pale terracotta in the dining end.
