As per the title! I'm looking for a dusky pink, and out of 5 testers, all are wrong! Please can someone recommend one and show it to me on your walls? The ones on my wall look NOTHING like the flaming test cards 🥴. It needs to be painted tomorrow!!!! Carpets coming on Monday morning 🙈.
Thank you!!!

FB Great White can look dusky pink/purple in North facing or dark rooms.

We have calamine in the nursery- not dusky pink but v nice.

have a look at the dulux heritage range, they have some beautiful shades. Potters pink and blossom may be what you are looking for. I have pale nutmeg in my bedroom and it's gorgeous.

I have Little Greene Blush in my shower room but from your picture, you're not quite looking for dusky so Hellebore would be a slightly brighter shade and more what you are wanting.

Try Hellebore by Little Greene

We have Hellebore by little Greene in my DDs bedroom. I did two walls in this and two walls in Confettii (also by Little Greene) I love their paint and have uses it through the whole house.

In a S facing room I think Calamine will look like the pic you like. It can look grey in N facing but warms up on S facing.

LittleMissNoSoPlump · 21/10/2023 18:33

Just jumping on to echo some
previous posters… after a very frustrating search for the perfect pink paint we found Farrow and Ball pink ground the perfect shade! For a slightly greyer pink then F&B calamine is a great choice too.

Friend has Dunelm sugar rose, in bedroom. It's gorgeous.

Pink Ground is lovely in N facing but can look rather apricot in S facing. Maybe not in SE facing though due to absence of warm W light.

NailsHairNipsHeels · 21/10/2023 18:54

This is sulking room pink. In a SW facing Room

Others to try
Dusted fondant (dulux)
Peignoir (farrow and ball)
Perfectly taupe (dulux)

The light in the rim will make a massive difference I had the same battle trying to find the right paint colours

I think my dd2 had Dulux milkshake or candy floss in her room. But this was a few years ago, so not sure if they're still around now.

Johnstone's ballet slipper is beautiful I did one of our bedrooms in it

LittleRebelGirl · 21/10/2023 20:21

Do you have the photo of the ballet slipper @choccytime ?

I really like Dulux Dusted Fondant, a pinkish/lilac/pebble tone

Another for FB Calamine. Have paired it with Dove Tale as DD wanted a room in pigeon colours! Don't ask...it's south facing and next to grey and white woodwork I think it's a perfect dusky pink. Sorry, can't take pic as she's asleep!

Ladybird69 · 21/10/2023 22:47

I have this one in my bedroom and the quality of the paint is great. Can’t take pic of bedroom as it’s too late.

Calamine is a beautiful colour, I have it in my sitting room and would absolutely recommend it but I'm not sure it's the same colour as the picture you posted.

This is kind of what we had in mind for the wall.

That's what I would call a dirty cool toned pink rather than dusty. This may be where you're going wrong.

Mapleunicorn · 21/10/2023 23:10

I have crown creme de la rose in my daughters room. It’s a lovely light dusky pink. Or if you want to go even lighter and it’s not that sunny a room then Farrow and Ball Great White is also nice.
