Are corner sofas naff?

Ok - so I’d like a corner sofa, but struggling to find one I like that isn’t mega expensive.

however, there seems to be very limited options ( I don’t want the ones with the chaise longer stuck at the end).

however, am beginning to wonder why there aren’t that many- are they just a bit shit?

how comfortable are they?

The corner is the best bit. Mine is so comfy but dangerous as we keep dozing off then waking at 4am and having to go to bed.

I love mine and it wasn't mega expensive. We went around a lot of shops trying them out and this was the most comfortable. Plus it has removable covers for washing which is always a bonus. Ours is silver (which is a pale grey really) and we have it in our kitchen diner (have standard sofas in our lounge but the corner one is more comfy I think).

I love our corner sofa as it fits our room. We got a complete DIY one which we built ourselves from nabru but we also designed it with the space exactly, chose the fabric size of seats etc.

It comes complete and utter flat pack and took 5 hours to build which isn't for everyone but we have tight corners in an old cottage and DFS couldn't say they could get it in!

We have the Freya corner from DFS and i love it, regularly sit in the corner with my feet up and it's also a great size to lay down for a nap 😀

Love our corner sofa! DH has always wanted one and we couldn't fit one in until we moved house. His little face the day we got it was too cute 🥰

It's so comfy and all 5 of us (3 teens, so all giant sized people!) can fit on and watch telly altogether.

It takes up most of our lounge but it's my favourite thing in the house I think 😂

We have one from nabru. It comes flat pack (builds like Lego and easy to get in and out of a house) but even after 10 years it's really comfortable. Friends have gone out and bought one after sitting on ours.

We’ve had one in our kitchen for the last 15 years and it works really well in the space. The corner is my favourite spot! It’s a bit of a crap picture but it’s the only one on my phone.

It looks lovely!
I wouldn't buy it because I hate arranging cushions constantly, but I'm one of those people who would rather have something ugly and low maintenance than beautiful and high maintenance.
I don't think other people's opinions are relevant to you on a purchase like this though, it's so personal you are the one who will be living with it.
Aesthetically it's lovely.
What will it look like with your home decor, no idea.
How comfy is it, also no idea.

The corner was a total waste.
No one ever actually sat in that bit so in reality it was a large piece of furniture taking up room where two sofas or a sofa and armchair gave more space.

Agreed.
We had one for a couple of years and reverted back to two sofas.
The middle seat was pointless and better served with a useable coffee table / lamp.
